I want to be mad, but it's fair.
Crouch: "Before the final of the Champions League, we went carting. I'm getting to the turn and I'm like, "I'm going to brake" except that my brakes are not working. I saw Xabi Alonso and Kuyt in front of me, and I asked myself the question "Who's the most important of the two?" So I ran into Kuyt"
Lots of disappointed people. The July 4th game in Colorado has been their calling card since the early days. I think there were 15 people in the stadium when the game finally ended.Well, other than the fact they don't die in a lightning strike.

The winner was Yaya, but there was enough spread in the votes that they are writing simulation program to compare various one man teams.
Yaya was such a fun player until his legs gave out. This reminds me of a project the reddit geeks are working on. They held a vote to see what 1 man team (same player playing all 11 positions) would be the best. You assume the player would be in his prime.

Yeah, serious in depth stuff too. It will factor in multiple years of play, having to play real teams in European competition if they qualify etc.
I have to lol at "data"Yeah, serious in depth stuff too. It will factor in multiple years of play, having to play real teams in European competition if they qualify etc.
They are working hard to get the legends involved but with out today's data, it is hard to find all the attributes needed to plug into the simulation.
Thank god. Bridgeview is a #### hole and it sucks to get there. The Fire have reached an agreement with Bridgeview to pay them $65.5 Million to break the stadium lease.
The Fire will now likely move back to Soldier Field
With this large amount of money being paid, they must have a plan I don't see because all I can think is we will be right back to 14k people looking empty in Soldier Field.
I must be a seriously sick nerd because I find this all pretty interesting. This reminds me of a project the reddit geeks are working on. They held a vote to see what 1 man team (same player playing all 11 positions) would be the best. You assume the player would be in his prime.

It is a very popular topic. The insane amount of data they have available makes these really fun to play with.I must be a seriously sick nerd because I find this all pretty interesting.
I have no idea who I would pick as Mr. All-Eleven. Yaya ain't a bad choice from my limited history.
was think both him and Lamps, tbh.Gerrard would be a decent choice. Came up as a defender was a good two-way mid and scored plenty when went forward. Good pace, great bite, covered tons of ground.
Random aside:. I was in NYC/Bryant Park for a bit yesterday and wondered which one was you.was think both him and Lamps, tbh.

Just started thinking about this, may have to delve more into it one day.I must be a seriously sick nerd because I find this all pretty interesting.

He also loves to hurt Liverpool players in crucial games.Just started thinking about this, may have to delve more into it one day.
Yaya obvious choice. His height, pace, stamina and shot seem like he could do it all.
I'll throw a few more in the ring.
Personal fave - Sergio Ramos. Dude has 100 senior goals for club and country as predominately a CB. Has played full back and certainly handles the ball well enough to play a holding mid. Loves to get into the attack, great in the air and decent shot.
Another guy on my radar although didn't get a chance to see him play live would be Ronald Koeman. Just reading up seemed a very versatile player in his own right.

thought you were talking about stevie g... no schtick. He also loves to hurt Liverpool players in crucial games.
wait- do you live or work in the city? or just in town for meeting(s)?Enjoying the sweet weather and uber-urbaness while having a beer after a meeting.
No clogging, but saw that "Carrie" was playing on the lawn at dark. Also pilates classes, mah-jong, etc too. More like a community center than a park.
wtf- no mattaus? I'd take him over most of those picks... but hard to pass on zidane- pure filth even if there'd be next to no d.he is one of the choices.
Here is the initial list of players that will make up the league. I think they will be slicing this down but I am not sure.

Just play Weston McKinnie in all the positions. He's got the experience...Just started thinking about this, may have to delve more into it one day.

ooh- ruud is a good one too.I used to play a lot of FIFA. Gullit always had insane stats at all positions in the game, I know nothing about him other than the game tho.

If Roberto Carlos can be on there, I would have nominated Maldini too. I guess the lists can go on foreverjust thought of viera and platini... the latter could help "secure" some good funds for the squad.

Just in town for the day and had some time to kill. Bryant Park was a nice box to check.wait- do you live or work in the city? or just in town for meeting(s)?
Puyol came up as an attacker too, so it would be interesting. The link is blocked at work, hopefully Puyol's is on the list to help ugly the team up.
