Seriously?  #### Chicharito.  Hate him.  He sucks when not playing for El Tri.  I just hope now he sucks when playing for El Tri also.

yeah, it is even worse when you read that he has been a complete tool while at LA.   This is from an ESPN reporter in LA

========================

“The players tell me that he thinks he is Cristiano Ronaldo and Messi combined. He only speaks with one player on the team, and that is his compatriot Dos Santos. The players are already very leery of him because he thinks he is a mega star, ”said Diego Cora.
Didn't know this.  Guess that explains whats not working at LAG  :lmao:

Many are saying he is worse than Gerrard was.  But the key difference being that Gerrard was at the very very end of his career and treated all his team mates down to the academy kids with respect.  He simply could not play any more.

But Hernandez is at an age where if he was as good as he thought, he should be dominating the league the way Keane, Villa, Zlatan and others at his price level did.

So, Man City is still listed as the favorite to win the premier league with odds at +150.

That's really strange to me. They just haven't done well yet. They're sitting in 12th place after 5 matches and only have 8 points to show for it. Even worse is that have a 0 goal differential. They're not scoring a lot and they aren't keeping enough out either (8 for, 8 allowed).

But most of all, I think the biggest concern is that they've faced Leicester, Wolves, Leeds, Arsenal, and West Ham.  Not exactly a murderer's row.

They'll obviously climb from where they are, but I don't even know if top 4 is a lock for them for the first time in a while. Certainly not overall favorites, IMO.

All about the Van Dyjk injury but I don’t buy it - Pools wins it going away IMO

Thank god.  It is sad that a small group of dingbats almost ruined one of the few cool American soccer traditions.  Thankfully they got so much pressure for the stupid decision they made that they reversed it.

Did you see where the NYRB guy on the Supporters Shield tweeted out something about Precourt being right after they walked back the decision? The Columbus folks were in quite a tizzy about it.

I am just glad it is fixed and hopefully a valuable lesson was learned.

Aston Villa, Leeds, and Everton all currently Champions League bound with Southampton looking at Europa.

6 weeks in, but still. Pretty crazy top of the table after 15% of the season.

Interesting table so far in the EPL.

-- Watford is the only team without a single point

-- Every other team has at least 3 points.

-- Wolves have drawn all 3 games.

-- There's 4 undefeated teams: Liverpool (1st), Man City (2nd), Leicester (4th), and Wolves (15th) but only 2 winless teams: Watford (20th) and Wolves (15th)

-- 10 teams are 1-1-1

-- Only 1 point separates 5th and 19th.
For those saying not to look until Boxing Day, this was last year after 3 weeks.

Liverpool finished 1st

Manchester City finished 2nd

Leicester was 5th

Wolves were 7th

Watford was relegated.

Don't ignore the early stuff!

So Serie A... The ref Piere Giacomalo and the VAR Ref will be suspended 1 month for their role in some questionable calls in the Milan Roma match that even the ESPN+ guys were confused by. Bannacer got to a rebound from the Milan Replacement keeper (GIGI has Covid) and tried to turn to protect the ball. Roma striker went right through him. Whistle blew and ref pointed for a PK that VAR didn't have him review. 10' Hakan got hit in the Roma Box contact yes but not enough to call a foul or PK but he did. Match ended 3 all but really Milan with their chances and not for shoddy officiating should've won 5-2 @Kafka's Serie B side really didn't deserve a point in this one as they were out played thourghly

Breaking Joseph Maria Bartomeu sends in his resignation as Barcas President

CR7 did not get a negative test in time and will miss the UCL clash with Messi tomorrow

Fifa President Infantino tested positive for COVID-19

Damn...  All around (except for Barça... I wish them all the dysfunction possible).

He is king of Milan and he is a God. Age means nothing. A lot of soccer pundits walking around with egg on their face who said Zlatan was just going back to Milan for a retirement tour. Already contract talks for another extension for next season.
He did take a couple years off after knee surgery playing in the sunday league in LA.....  He is well rested and ready to play like a 36 year old

The other day he was quoted as saying I'm still learning at 39 but imagine Zlatan now with that knowledge at 20 I'd be unstoppable

According to the latest from TodoFichajes, Icardi is now ‘determined’ to sign for Milan. The Rossoneri have been looking for a while now for a centre-forward capable of playing alongside Ibrahimovic at first but then also replacing him when he retires.

The report even goes so far as to claim there is the principle of an agreement with Wanda Nara, and everything indicates that he will return to Milan. The operation would cost €40m, but the transaction has been approved by Gazidis

Milan and Real Madrid will meet possible as soon as RM come to Milan for the UCL match vs Inter on a permanent move for Brahim Diaz who has already scored 3 in 6 matches for Milan. Diaz might find Madrid to be too crowded at the attacker spots and may want more playing time. he is enjoying his football in Italy as well

Milan are looking at possible making Diago Dalot's move to Milan possible Man United agreed with Milan despite a dry loan if all parties were willing later to discuss a possible permanent move to the Fashion capital for the Young Portuguese FB. He's made two appearance 1 RB and 1LB both in Europa League. He scored his first Milan goal yesterday vs Sparta Prague and linked up well with fellow countryman and fellow sub Rafeal Leo on a few occasions doing threatening damage on the left side. He had an Assist on Leo's goal

That's great.

I don't understand the protest, the kicker did absolutely nothing wrong.  Ball was motionless, whistle was blown.

I am confused who the teams were.  The onscreen says Croatia vs Cibalia.  Cibalia is a club team (second division).  Was the other team the Croatian National team?  Or is there a Croatia FC club team?

Man City v LFC game on Peacock Premium this weekend.  NBC really going all-in on its investment.
Used to be able to watch 3-4 games in a day (if you got up at 445am pacific for the early game), now you are lucky if 2 are on.  And all the prime matchups seem to be on Peacock instead of broadcast.  Its really getting ridiculous.
