I wish Gemma would take a bullit she is annoying. Tara needs her ol look back.
Why do you find Gemma annoying?I don't mind Tara's look. She's a bit less hot than earlier sesaons, but she's starting to look more like a biker's ol' lady. You gotta cut her some slack too. She's pushing 40. 37, I think. Very hot still, but some deterioration is to be expected.

Just started watching this on Netflix. Finished Season 1 last night. Fun show.Don't want to read the entire thread (to avoid spoilers) but do they ever explain why JAX WEARS SUCH STUPID PANTS?
As much as they show his ### u wouldn't think he wears any.Just finished season 3. Awesome show. Going to start DL season 4 tonight.

So, do Gemma/Clay try to kill Tara this season? Or is it now just a matter of when and how? Does she organize it herself or wait until Clay takes the threat seriously?I imagine Gemma would kill for alot less than someone who might expose that she and her husband killed her son's father. Surest way to keep Jax in Samcro too.I assume an attempt on Tara's life is coming pretty soon. I hope Sutter's not crazy enough to see it succeed though. The show obviously needs Tara for much longer.
I think at least one of Clay or Gemma have mellowed and wouldn't kill Tara but instead brace for the inevitable confrontation with Jax and hope to keep it quiet from there, from blackmail or something else.
I guess Clay hasn't mellowed.I love the show, but I'd lose a great deal of interest if something happened to Tara.I'm guessing it's years away, but I'm excited to see Jax slit Clay's throat.

Beat episode of the season. Show is clearly getting more edgy. Smoking weed, gun violence, language, throwing women in to mirrors.

Yeah, I was upset at Jax for a hot second - lolAlso, I wasn't expecting to see dude get shot in the face like that.

Jax rolling a doob was a nice touch, but I seem to remember decent amount of weed smoking throughout. It seems like Gemma and Unser have shared a joint a couple of times. My favorite, Unser offering Stahl a joint right before she got got.I agree that it's the best episode of the season so far. There's enough going on to make us forget how much we hate the Juice storyline. Even that seems to be being handled as well as can be expected.

:goodposting:I was getting really worried for a while there, but this thing seems back on track. Solid writing throughout, IMO. This episode had some really solid one-liners, too.

Once dude pulled a gun on Juice, I knew he was through. he was down for the club, but got buried like a traitor. Chibbs definitely thinks something is fishy.

Jax spitting in porno girl's face was an awesome touch.

Clay setting up Tara, but Unser secretly trying to protect her is a cool plot element.

She's probably used to stuff like that happening at the ends of scenes.

The broken nose is probably a new touch, though. Might open up a new market for her.

Chibbs definitely is wondering what's going on. The Juice line is going to keep going because he put a sample under the rock. So that is still ridiculous but whatever.Unser protecting Tara may be my favorite plot point so far in the entire series. I hope they don't mess it up. ALl this time the inevitable showdown was thought to be Jax and Clay. I'm sure that will happen eventually, but in the meantime a showdown between lap-dog Unser and Clay could be awesome. My wife and I were mad at Jax also, thinking he was going to get with the hoor. When he threw her in to the mirror was awesome, which is odd because violence against women shouldn't be celebrated. The surprise/suspense of it happening was enough to overcome the taboo, IMO.

I loved the part where Tara was bemoaning to Jax the way club members treat their women. Jax comforts Tara, telling her he isn't going to hurt her. Viewers are tempted to think Jax is different from the rest. Then Jax goes out and smashes the stripper's head into the mirror.

Why just women?

Why just women?
And why shouldn't violence against women be celebrated?

And you think that makes him bad?

I think that makes him like all the rest.

This show does an amazing job closing out episodes. So many significant events happen in the final 5 minutes. The show then seems to end on a high and you're left wanting more. Can't think of a show that does it any better.

I like the show and I watch every week but good lord this is nothing but a soap opera on at night. I will never again make fun of my wife for watching the soaps. I may get some bon bons for Wednesday night, get my hair done, and watch my show.

Why wouldn't Juice just skip town? Call the club, say yo, I'm half-black, cops were trying to squeeze me, so I bailed. Gotta be a better option than messing with the coke stash.

I'm hanging in there, but it's starting to feel more and more like a poor man's Shield.

It's always been a poor man's The Shield. It's close approaching high school kid making minimum wage working part time at the Burger King drive-thru territory.

Haven't watched the last 2 weeks. They are sitting on the DVR. The Juice story is really annoying me as is the AZ club's drug related issues. I know why its in there but it was just forced to me. I'm going to watch it at some point. Probably better to watch them all in a row anyway. But certain things are turning me off to it.

The gf thought she heard the branch break also. I'd be surprised if he's not dead. I liked his character but that story was terrible.

I hope the branch didn't break.

The storyline's obviously quite lame. They could salvage it by having Juice finally do one thing that makes sense. Then again, deep-throating Sig Sauer makes much more since than dangling from a branch.

They have succeeded in destroying a good character. Sucks, but it happens. Let's just get it over with.

Could anyone tell what he put on the ground below him?

I hope it's something telling the story of what happened. If he's going to off himself, it makes sense to give the club a head's up and throw some stink at the sheriff on the way out.

Of course, leaving it below your dead body makes no sense. If the sheriff is among first to the scene (a reasonable assumption), the club or public would never see it. If you don't die and the club finds it and you, that won't be fun.

I fear the pattern of Juice doing dumb things may only be beginning.

That said, it's really a fantastic season otherwise.

Does anybody think there's any chance in hell Clay gets voted out?

Hard to imagine. I assume it could only happen if Jax really wanted it. No idea what Jax will do. I never would've thought he was dumb enough to push the cartel thing through to begin with. No clue what to expect from him anymore.

I actually don't mind that they killed him. Its the most absolute way to purge a stupid storyline from the show. Stinks to lose a good character, but its a MUCH better solution then them somehow trying to back track out of the stupid story.

But did they?
