At this point in the year, I'd think they'd be watching the police blotter to see which of the criminals on their roster committed a crime this weekend. They really have no business discussing the actual football season at this point. They've been eliminated for two months.

You have no clue who I'm a fan of. I have a stronger rooting interest in some Philly players than you know. I hate the Pat's, but unfortunately you (who I don't even know?) and your girlfriend who loves to make up facts are exactly the kinds of doosh fans that bring down the cool Philly fans. Please just go away, and hopefully we all can enjoy the Eagles win without you two acting fools.

You guys have enough rings, Brady is due for an off game already come on! Would be storybook taking down the best QB/coach of all time, odds aren’t in our favor but pumped to get a shot at it!

word is the a ton of Philly players have been down and out with the flu this week so I suspect that will be the leading excuse after they lose tomorrow

 
I’m just letting you all know now, that I will be drunk as a skunk on Sunday.

So, when the Eagles win and I come in here and verbally teabag the lot of you Chowdahheads, i won’t apologize on Monday. You have been forewarned.

The more I listen to you Patsy fans, the more convinced I get at of the inevitability of an Eagles win. Y’all are scurred.

Are you crying? Be honest. It sounds like it. I realize that two playoff wins in 20+ years is embarrassing, but you don't have to come here and troll the Super Bowl thread.  It's not 1995 and Troy Aikman isn't playing. Now go put on your Zeke Elliotte belly shirt and let the men talk.

 Well duh. Of course you do. All Cowboy fans do. You've won two playoff games in the last 20 years. TWO!!  Only 5 of the 32 teams have less than that in that timespan. So when your team has been a joke for two decades, the only way to get satisfaction is to hope other teams lose. It's sad, but I get the logic. Get well soon.

My bets are in. Been cranking in the Kitchen all day. Backwoods smoker getting dropped off shortly. Sipping on a Van Winkle 12yr neat and Lagunitas Willettized Barrel Aged Stout. Small preparty tonight. 

Tomorrow is all too familiar... the tradition continues. Win or lose it’s been a great season for both teams. 

Win or lose, the scoreboard for Brady Belichick Era: 

17 Year Dynasty 

214-74 in Regular Season (.743)

27-9 in Postseason  (.750) 

15 of 17 Division Titles 

12 of 17 AFC Championship Appearances (7 Consecutive)

I am a Phins fan so I do not want to see the Pats win, but part of me wants Philly to lose because too many Philly fans are tool bags. One reason I hate living in the area.

i have seen this a few times, some Minny fan last week said he lived in Philadelphia and hated all of the Philadelphians. Something tells me all of you live next to each other, and just hate each other.

I can tell you that it's actually a natural feeling.  When I lived in Pittsburgh (for most of my life), anyone who lived in the city but was a fan of another team absolutely hated the fans and the Steelers.  I think it's more common when you live in a city that has a passionate fanbase and successful teams.  I don't think many people living in Jacksonville would hate the Jaguars.  It doesn't help that the majority of the Philly sports talk hosts are complete arrogant douchebags.  If you're a fan of any other team trying to call into the majority of those shows (I've never even attempted), you're basically either ridiculed or discarded.  But the same thing happens in Pittsburgh and I'm guessing Boston, Chicago, etc.

 
I'm more excited for this SuperBowl than any non-Steeler SuperBowl in my life.  Damn I want the Eagles to win so badly.  I can feel it coming.

 
Ok, I don't post on gameday (like curly im superstitious) so it is crunch time.

Im concerned about the NE def not being as good as past years and Phi having the edge on OL & DL, and if passionate fans wanting it so, so badly is a factor it could be a long day for NE.

Having said that i see it being close for a while but the wheels eventually come off for Phi at some point and NE wins going away 42-20.

Win or lose I won't blame the home town refs or accuse Phi of cheating and I hope most of the Eagles fans will show some class and do likewise.

Good luck Eagles fans, your going to need it!

yeah, it was an honest question. and i agree, a winning team is usually a well disciplined team. just seems to be more than a pattern 

maybe it's healthy for us to get the penalty stuff out of the way before the game  :)

 
Nothing adds up to say the Eagles should win but why not us and why not now......if we are going to bring home a SuperBowl I can’t think of a better way. Lay it out there against the best and see what happens. Go Eagles.
