***OFFICIAL 'The Walking Dead' TV Series Thread*** (5 Viewers)

As awesome as the episode was, this after stuff is awful.

It's like watching athletes be interviewed. "What were your emotions after scoring the winning touchdown?"

I knew I saw it up there.  And then suddenly it was on the ground.
Negan flipped it up on the roof. I knew it landed up there because you could hear it hit the roof and his arm swung towards the roof. Then Rick went up to get it.

Jeffery Dean Morgan has pulled off a great acting job.  So eminently detestable.  Similar to Joaquin Phoenix role in Gladiator.  Every movie Phoenix was in my first thought was that's the guy that killed Maximus.  Yeah I know Johnny Cash can't kill a roman gladiator, but the visceral hatred of the character bled over into other roles for the actor.  Morgan has pulled that off with Negan.  So bad that you want to see how much worse he can be.

Ok....wow...where do i start...THAT was brutal ...and heartbreaking for a lot of people who are invested in the characters of this show....2 great guys got killed in the most graphic and disturbing way even for this show ...i know its just a show and its not real but we arent robots ..we can relate to death and pain and the humiliation that Rick and the group as a whole just went thru...hard to watch Rick being broken down like that ...using his son Carl was beyond cruel.....holy #### is Negan a BAD MUTHAFUKA...its gonna be sweet seeing him get his ...the acting in this episode was brilliant from everyone that mattered ...i felt awful when it was over...not an episode id watch again...just gonna move on lol......RIP Glen and Abraham

Calm down

Need a gif of Lauren Cohan all wet on the set of The Talking Dead. That was a good sight.

You can tell they know they ####ed up with the Governor and with the last season finale. They had to get people buzzing about how brutal this episode was and what a crazy villain Negan is.

Even knowing that going in, have to say they succeeded.

Rollercoaster. After Abraham I was actually pissed, as in "I spent all summer annoyed at the finale and waiting for them to make a safe choice like 2nd tier character Abraham??" pissed, and then they surprised me with Glen.

They've set a high bar now. Can't sulk in Alexandria for six episodes or they'll lose people.

I'm supposed to hate negan. But his stupid smile makes me think he's a bottom with a sadism fetish. Old Rick would have killed him in the motor home easily. This new ####ified Rick is a loser. The show just got a lot worse with the loss of two of the best characters.

OMG

Brutal even by TWD standards. THought for sure Glenn or Darryl...was mildly surprised they went the safe route...then was in utter disbelief when they took out Glenn as well.

Was ready to lose my dinner watching RIck getting ready to take his son's hand and for a moment thought they were doing it

Rick could have still killed him easily.... But Negans army would have killed everyone then.  Rick was in an impossible situation.

I don't know much about his army.  If he wasn't around, would they be happy to be free of him or do they really love and respect the guy?  Or do they all have high level Stockholm syndrome?
