Has Daryl even had time to talk to Rick about the radio? I've been a bit inebriated the past 3 or 4 episodes. I know they had time together last night, but they were discussing Carol. Was there any other time they could have discussed the radio thing? Remember, the two epsiodes prior to this last one was basically about the Governor, and that was all taking place at an "earlier" time regarding the main group/prison.

Nope. There hasn't been time for the two of them to talk about it at all really.

Yeah. When Daryl and his group got back from getting the meds/hearing the radio, that was when Rick was out with Carol, right?

No. Rick got back before Daryl. The fence breach happened just before Daryl's group returned. Between dealing with that outside and the sick/dead inside, there wasn't much time for chatting.

Edit to add: The very next morning is where last night's episode picked up.

The only thing I took as REALLY stupid was when Daryl shoved a grenade down the barrel of the tank and the inside of the tank exploded. That wouldn't happen. Would it even mess the barrel of the tank up? I don't think it was an incendiary grenade.

Also REALLY stupid:

-Headshot Carl suddenly can't shoot 50 yards with a friggin rifle. "OMG it's 50 yards!!!" -Daryl

-Daryl holding up the zombie as a shield while people 20 yards away fired machine guns at him. He'd be full of holes.

-The previously mentioned ignoring of Rick. But also Rick and all these peeps with knives all over their person, but Rick goes for the flying body block on the Governor instead of just stabbing him.

- Cutty using a 4" post and then some pots as cover. Completely unscathed.

-Just about everything involving the tank.

-Chick suddenly walking up with her dead daughter out of nowhere. OHAI

-Zombies suddenly showing up all over the camp - I though there was one massive tank hole in the fence? Did some errant shots from the tank blow more?

now that you mention that yeah that is totally unbelievable.

I love how a show about zombies isn't realistic enough for people.

I think its more that its believable within its parameters. Just like any sci fi show or what have you. The problem with WD is the rules or parameters of the show just change and switch from episode to episode making it cringeworthy at best

What great military skills did Ricks group have other then living with it every day? Anyone still alive after 2 years should be able to kill Zombies. Not just one group.

2. There is no doubt that that baby is zombie chow. That baby was as much dead weight as the baby in Willow. And right now some of you are going "There was a baby in Willow?" That's right the baby in willow was a cheap plot device to move the characters towards a goal. Now that the whole Shane's and ghost Lori's illegitimate baby is now a dead end plot point and the writers are sick of trying to find clever ways to make the other characters seem like they give a crap about a baby it is baby the other white meat time.

3. Get over the terrible shoot out. Govner convinced the rubes that they were going to go there and scare them out of the prison and when he went all Queen of Hearts when the prison gang started shooting they were a little flustered.

Plus what did you want a %90 percent casualty rate at the mid break where the only survivors Glen and Tyreese sneak off into the woods with the cowardly lesbo?

4. Geez it's like you people don't even watch the show. Of course that was the loon in the sport coat that stabbed herself in the yard, hey here is a clue, if you see a zombie with a bear trap on its leg it the one Carl didn't kill in the woods.

5. Gun toting kids one shotting army lesbos may be my new favorite thing on television. Not that I don't like lesbians or anything but when that went down I was like "HOLY #### DID THAT JUST HAPPEN?" answer yes,yes it did.

6. Hey nut bags alcoholic army medic is NOT coming up with a cure. Two CDC doctors with equipment collaboration and computers are stumped but a drunk with a shoe box has it figured it out, right.

7. Did you guys see Herchel whip the pistol on the guvner, I was like Hershchel is finally bad ### too bad he is gonna die this episode.

8. I don't know why Maggie and Beth are so mad, it's not like they can't keep their dads living head in a jar and talk to him whenever they want like on futurama.

I see other posts in here about the poor shooting. I took it to show how inept and unprepared the Governor's new geoup was for battle, and just pointing out the fact that they were essentially led to the slaughter by the Guv.

The group was, until the guv arrived, a peaceful group just trying to survive. Most probably hadn't shot anything but a stumbling zombie in their life.

Agreed. I posted the same thing above that with the tank just popping shots off randomly (the tank guy was kind of an idiot), the rest of the crew was downhill and not protected at all. Not surprising at all that they took the worst of it. Also, with Martinez, the dead other military brother and the brother in the tank, I would bet the rest of the crew was totally inexperienced. Remember the Woodbury crew turning tail the instant they were fired upon? Andrea made their Woodbury regulars look like crap at Woodbury. The governor got rid of the best guys. The only one with experience that we know of was the lesbian and she made it all the way inside and stopped because she saw kids. The tank guy got taken out by Daryl, so they did make it to their objective, just didn't finish well.

By the way, they shot Rick, shot the medic, shot Tyrese and killed that one redshirt with the rifle. They may have killed more redshirts, but no one in the main crew.

Tanks aren't designed to mow down infantry, especially with the main 105mm cannon. Yo'd need to use the machine gun up top for that, and if I recall, there was only the one guy firing, and he ducked down and was using the main gun, not the machine gun.

Oh here is something else I just noticed. That freaky girl that one timed the lesbian had blood on her shirt after they found the cut up rat on the board before the guvner whacked Hershel. She has to be the rat dismantler, unless she just has a really dirty shirt.

I know I am harping on this kid shooting the lesbian in the head, if someone knows her name I will refer to her as her name in the future but I saw that and all of my TV watching flashed before my eyes.

I mean as a kid I watched as it was a BIG deal for the Bradys to sleep in the same bed, an entire premise for a show was a white guy adopting two black kids and Jody being openly gay on Soap was ground breaking.

I just watched a black lady stab a white dude in the back with a sword, zombies eat a baby, and a little kid shoot a lesbian in the head on television. Oh yeah and the guvner popped a bit kid in the head IN HIS ARMS. When the least shocking thing in the episode is a senior citizen getting decapitated as the mellow point you know times have changed.

Can you imagine if somehow this episode of the walking dead was shown on TV in the 50's? Wow.

Oh wait...writers of this show don't give a crap about making sense...so, maybe she is dead. Although I doubt it. She's with the "Lord of the Flies Crew".

Not sure if this is sarcasm or not, but just in case it isn't... A zombie wouldn't unbuckle her, he would eat her while she was still in the seat. Explains all the blood.

I think she's dead. Showing a baby being eaten by a zombie is just too dark, so it happened off camera.

No pieces left? Nothing? Baby is not dead and the buckle was unbuckled.

There weren't any Lori pieces left either. And again, "baby pieces" is too dark. There's a line.

God...this feels just like the ignorant "Lori is alive" nonsensical argument from before.

Rick makes his plea about changing and Guvna whispers in this echoed voice, "LIAR!"...and chops Hershel with the sword.

One of the signs on the dead at that cabin was "LIAR".

Too many coincidences for my liking but believe what you want...and it's perfectly plausible and more plausible than some of the insane nonsense that gets thrown out there in this thread to explain some of the inconsistent writing and stupid scenarios.

Why even write something so similar to the Governor's story. It probably isn't his cabin, but it's just too many similarities and probably just another example of poor writing. We didn't need those heads in there...that was just TOO much like the Guvna's insanity.

The only thing I took as REALLY stupid was when Daryl shoved a grenade down the barrel of the tank and the inside of the tank exploded. That wouldn't happen. Would it even mess the barrel of the tank up? I don't think it was an incendiary grenade.

A grenade down the barrel will #### up a tank.

If the breach was left open, maybe.

It clearly was.

-Headshot Carl suddenly can't shoot 50 yards with a friggin rifle. "OMG it's 50 yards!!!" -Daryl

-Daryl holding up the zombie as a shield while people 20 yards away fired machine guns at him. He'd be full of holes.

-The previously mentioned ignoring of Rick. But also Rick and all these peeps with knives all over their person, but Rick goes for the flying body block on the Governor instead of just stabbing him.

- Cutty using a 4" post and then some pots as cover. Completely unscathed.

-Just about everything involving the tank.

-Chick suddenly walking up with her dead daughter out of nowhere. OHAI

-Zombies suddenly showing up all over the camp - I though there was one massive tank hole in the fence? Did some errant shots from the tank blow more?

Funny you mention that. Last episode at the prison, Rick and Carl were engaging zombies at close range with M4s equipped wth ACOG sights. Sights meant for range shooting. Suddenly when they are shooting at range, they're using iron sights on a lever action rifle and a red dot sit which has no zoom. Quite honestly, with the rifle supported by the fence and an ACOG sight, everyone in this thread could hit a man sized stationary target at 100 yards.
