they were taking them somewhere in truck... why? because writers.

but given all the "wolves" stuff, I'm sure/hoping it will be further explained later in the season.

On the talking dead the guy who directed the episode said the story of the truck full of zombie parts would unfold as they go.

Noah and his father went to GA to look for their uncle who was down there. Presumably to bring him back to the gated community they were in. Noah got snatched up by the hospital cops to be a ward for the gal in charge. They left the dad out to die. I guess they never found the uncle they were looking for.

I am still holding out hope Noah's uncle is Morgan. When Morgan and the group inevitably link up it would be cool if two guys who lost their families were able to reconnect to a relative.

Here's an observation- in Tyreese's hallucination Bob's leg is lost, gum chewer has a nasty neck injury, but Beth's face has no hole? Governor looked fine too.

I thought she had a stitched up hole on her face.

I didn't want to say anything because it would surely stir up a hornets nest in this thread, but she had stiches on her face in the room, but had none in the scene in the car.

The girls also didn't have blood on them in the car and Bob looked much better. This was done purposely, I think to symbolize that everything will be OK if Tyreese let's go rather than clinging to life.

I liked it. Seems pretty obvious we have two different problems out there now. Wolves (literally or figuratively) and a group of people who killed everyone in Noah's neighborhood. I don't see how someone in the neighborhood spent the time to spray paint the wolves note as they were getting attacked. No idea on cutting the people in half too make the half zombies. Pretty sure that makes this a very bad group. Obviously, killing everyone in the neighborhood already confirmed that as well.

I agree with a bunch of the posts, that Tyrese saw the pictures and got lost in the realization that he was done. I am not big on the silent zombie thing, but I knew he would get bit and the twin walked through the bathroom door, which I think we saw open.

Exactly, it was Tyrese's visions, it was whatever he wanted them to be, nothing else.

The director of the episode made it clear on TD that the walls were made to look battered from the outside as if the bad guys broke in. They also commented that Noah's mom had her head sliced or bashed in rather than an attack by walkers.

The only thing about that is Morgan had a wife and kid and lived, I thought, near the town Rick came from. Morgan was the one who first showed Rick how to kill walkers. That doesn't mean that Noah and his dad were only looking for the uncle. Maybe they were looking for him and Noah's cousin. But if they were captured in ATL, it seems they over-shot Morgan's neighborhood or was looking for him in the wrong place. Or maybe they didn't know where he lived, IDK. It would be cool if Morgan was his uncle.

You could EASILY 500 miles in under 8 hours seeing as there is no traffic to deal with.. Add in a few drive around Zombie invested roads and I'll give you 10 hours..

I know in the past they've taken their sweet time getting this group to travel 15 miles..

But again, that has been one of the complaints from some.... To slow, why aren't they moving along faster, this is the same old boring stuff, move the story along!!

I just figure Rick had Tyrese driving because he knew that if Tyrese was in the back seat he'd be saying, "Are we there yet? Are we there yet?" every 10 miiles and he'd have been forced to kill him.

In the comics Rick eventually shacks up with a still alive Andrea and that has carried through to present. Since she got killed off the show, someone will likely step into that vacuum at some point.

They've been setting up Rick, Michonne and Carl as a family unit for quite awhile now. It wouldn't be a surprise if something happened between Rick and Michonne.

That's what irked me. When Abraham and co. went out to go to Washington, they barely made it 5 miles before a crazy zombie horde. Yet, the group sets out on a 500 mile trip and we get nothing? Again, not saying they had to devote an entire episode to it, but at least give us something.

I didn't mind last night's episode overall, just thought they skimmed over a pretty big development in the story.

Maybe they actually had a clear drive for once, and didnt want to do an episode of just driving and chatting?

As for the 500 miles and 5 miles being halfway some people mentioned, I think they were just testing the range on the radios, and the other were a few miles behind and not all going to that development. Remember when they were carrying Tyreese back and they said to make sure to get Carl and Sasha out of there so they didn't see Tyreese while they worked on him, did people think they were about to drive him 500 miles back?

When did they pick up those radios I forget? Those type of radios need repeaters to work off of so they definitely wouldn't have worked 500 miles away from where they found them and very little chance they'd still be working if they found them in the Virginia area there.

How are people not understanding this... it was clearly spelled out in the show.

They travelled together up until about 10 miles from Noah's place. At that point, they took Noah and what they assumed were some of their most bad assed brawlers to go see what there was to see. Even though it was completely obvious to the viewers that Tyrese was better suited to stay back and provide daycare, the southern bigots all though, hey, giant black dude is scary, better bring him with us for the intimidation factor. They didn't realize he was susceptible to being hypnotized by photographs. Anyways, the rest of the group set up a base camp 10 miles out from Noah's old place, and that's where they were during the walkie talkie calls.

Maybe. I guess he figured the community was safe because they had walls all around the neighborhood. That would keep walkers out but not bad people. Maybe if that community would have been more like Woodbury where they had armed guards on the walls, it would have still been there when they arrived.

30 miles a day seems slow, but figure they had to search for food and water and might have changed vehicles (with some gas in it) a few times along the way. Who knows?

Might be a crazy thought but maybe Noah took a bit to tell Rick about his home. I'm not sure, but maybe because of the shock of Beth's death? Abraham took a bit to tell Rick about DC and Noah doesn't seem more gung ho than him.

They may have been passing by Atlanta, they may have been near it. Beth was grabbed outside the city. Noah says Atlanta because he likely doesn't know the area around it. I tell people I meet that I live in Charlotte but I'm 20ish miles outside the city.ETA: I doubt they are related, just think it would be cool.

They also showed Michonne looking at the outside wall to confirm the wall was taken down from the outside. It almost looked like explosives since it looked like burn marks.

How do you know that? I assumed the opposite. She reminded me of what people who died of starvation/dehydration (dude in truck when Carl grabbed his machete). I think if you are brain dead before you have a chance to turn you look like a regular dead body. Also, we have no clue how long ago this happened.

Yes, this was my takeaway as well. Those top halves were alive when they were crated. The bottom halves we saw first (aka THE POWERBOTTOMS tufnel:hi) seemed like they were human when they were chopped, not zombied. It also seemed like the burned earth and structural damage in Noah's was from targeted strikes, not from random fires or #### falling apart.

Another thought for all the people who hated Tyresse's character -- This show would be a lot worse without a breadth of emotion and range of moral views among the people we're following. If this show was 20 Michonnes running around bringing Wu-Tang justice to a bunch of zombies, it would be a ####ty action movie.

Now, I guess I can understand being disappointed in how Tyresse was developed in the show vs in the comic -- but for people who don't have that comparison and just hate him because "F that guy, he's a vag" -- remind me not to watch anything that you decide to direct.

Now, I guess I can understand being disappointed in how Tyresse was developed in the show vs in the comic -- but for people who don't have that comparison and just hate him because "F that guy, he's a vag" -- remind me not to watch anything that you decide to direct.

Don't mind at all if he acted like a vag occasionally, but they should have mixed it up with more badassery. Didn't seem they wanted to do that so frankly they made the correct decision to kill him off.
