***OFFICIAL 'The Walking Dead' TV Series Thread*** (2 Viewers)

Not much of a cell. Do the writers realize that the walls of this room are sheetrock?

Anyone could put a fist or foot through and walk into the next room at any time.

At least the cell that Morgan was held in was against 2 outside walls with plywood siding.
Did you not notice Morgan cinder blocking the walls of the cell? It is a pretty solid jail cell at this point.

it might have already happened, but fake "this happened in the comics" non-spoilers spoilage might be good schtick.
Was used in the GoT threads to rile up the TV only viewers and then laugh about it in the book only thread, hence my appeal to BB to just ignore it.  Some people will commit the offendign behavior even more if they know it gets under your skin.

... so the season finale has to have Michonne dying at the hands of Gneagun right?

Since all of Ricks lady friends die off one way or another ... gotta keep that guy single for the female followers I guess.

Actually, bolded face type is the easiest to ignore.  Just spot it in your peripherals (it stands out)... then ignore it.  We're not really talking about eyes here.  It's your brain.  This is not a "safe zone" for you.  If you want, there is probably a heavily moderated TWD forum that will tailor to your needs there.  I'm fine not posting spoilers and using the tags if I decide to talk about something in the comic.  But there's this weird line that Copeland apparently crossed where some people don't even want you to talk about what other people THINK might happen.  Then, as the GoT thread showed,  you'll have people that pretend to speculate knowing the truth to do a "did I do that?" spoiler.   Some people are going to call you ugly and stupid.  Some people are going to post spoilers.  They're #####, the world is full of them, there's no escaping it no matter how much we plead.   So let us talk about the show.
Wait, so are we supposed to assume that everything on FBG that is in bold is a spoiler?  So we just immediately avert our eyes any time we see bold text on the internet?  What the heck are you talking about man?  It's not like Joe sent out an email blast that said "on page 634 of TWD thread there is going to be a spoiler in bold text, so make sure not to read any bold text".  Seriously,  :lmao:

As to Copeland, I think his problem was that the "speculation" was actually based on real info.  Sort of the way the GoT bookies used to "predict" what was going to happen when they actually pretty much knew what was going to happen based on their knowledge of what happened in the books.

"Flub around the internet is saying..." is not based on some random TV watchers speculation.  That's clearly something that comes from a source with spoiler knowledge.  And this is all what led to the GoT threads being split.  For every person that has spoiler knowledge and is good at keeping it at their side, their are 10 other dolts that are too dense to realize that the knowledge they're sharing is what most people would consider a spoiler.  This is a pretty good example, because you have to be pretty :wall:  to not realize that people that don't want stuff spoiled don't want to know about the latest wave of info that came from a spoiler site.

What it comes down to for me (and this will hopefully be my final word on the subject for a long while) is, people will not self-moderate when it comes to spoilers.  Intentionally or unintentionally.  So you have to moderate yourself if you don't want to see them.  Pleas for spoilers to stop lead to digressions like this and cause antagonizers to want to spoil more and get under your skin.

If you don't want to see spoilers, don't come on the internet.  If you happen to see one while here, don't whine about it.  If you whine about it, don't be shocked when someone tells you to shut the F up and 4 other random people attempt to pepper you with true/untrue/partially true spoilers to see if you get your #### in a bunch.

Thanks.

I cared enough to respond to you about it, you simpleton. So there's obviously less I could care.

Before you try to flex your intellectual muscles, make sure you have some.

You really are a special kind of stupid.

Posted the same thing 20 or so pages back.  It makes historical sense.

Season 6 season finale leaked from a Netherlands FOX affiliate who distributes TWD there: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9fuLXVjL4h8

ETA: Don't click the Wetpaint hosting link. I clicked another innocuous looking link, and the first line without any spoiler warning ruined the season 6 finale for me already. :censored:

I see both sides of the spoiler fence here.  On one hand, the show deviates from the comics on a frequent basis so talking about what happens in them... while a potential spoiler... isn't always one.

That said, how hard is it to put something in spoiler tags if it's a potential spoiler?  Isn't that what the tag is there for?
where is that option located

So I still had the last episode on dvr and wanted to see how many guys they got away from in the shootout. Looks like 15. But the funniest part that I missed the first time was that all the shooting stopped when Sasha picked off the guy that was going to shoot Abraham.

shooting  shooting shooting shooting, Sasha shoots guy keying in on Abraham, all shooting stops, Abraham gives a nod of approval to Sasha, Sasha responds with a nod herself to Abe...shooting resumes...:lmao:

You may want to re-watch that scene.  Or adjust the color balance on your tv.

So seems Carol left at midnight during the guard shift change. She has a car and a 6 hour head start. Lets all go look for her.

Sheesh. Writers just can't have Gneaguns gang attack a full staffed Alexandria?

They blew the budget on the Battle of Blackwater Bay?

Negans always be starting #### with people. That's why regular people can't have nice things......cause Negan be always showing up to take it.

So the story goes, they all split up and get captured by the Saviors. Glenn, Michonne, then Daryl, Rosie, soon to be Morgan.

No way out and are all but executed.... except for Carol.

I hope the Saviors have a giant propane tank inside their complex.

Christ what a dumb episode. I mean dumb by twd standards.   So many wtf storylines.

Why was everyone chasing Darryl?  #### made no sense.  They were blasting him for making a dumb rash decision but they did the exact same thing.  The writers just use stupid archs to keep the story moving in the direction they want.

Horrible.  Getting annoyed with all of the bad decisions

I stared watching the show over the winter (binge watched everything over the course of a few weeks) so I haven't had to sit with this for 6 years like a lot of you....but yeah, its beyond ridiculous. Morons like this wouldn't last 2 weeks. I'm all about suspension of disbelief for the purposes of entertainment but there's only so much you can take.

There's a group of violent killers that you basically started a war with...you know they'll kill without warning and you know they know EXACTLY where you are and have been watching you for a while....and you decide to send 3 tiny little groups of people out into the woods? Come on.

I wouldn't necessarily mind them sending out small groups into the woods - if they were scouting parties.  They should be doing reconnaissance, trying to find out as much as possible about where the rest of the Saviors are holed up, how many they have, their supply lines, etc...  This aimless wandering is pretty stupid.

These large groups of Saviors also just wandering around seems silly as well.

im guessing the saviors are looking for the ones who attacked them ...they even told carol they were on there way to alexandria ...so at least they are organized
