Detroits staff is very good but Price-Shields-Moore-Hellickson-Cobb is better.All that said I'm definitely rooting for Detroit in this series and the playoffs so not really looking for a huge pissing match.Who is better? Detroit was second post all-star break in AL pitching as starters behind the Rays. I'll take Verlander over Price, Scherzer over Shields and Fister over Hellickson or Cobb at this point in time. Moore probably gives Tampa a slight advantage overall but I think we can argue about it. I wouldn't necessarily disagree with Tampa though, Giants are probably the other unit.The Rays. The last 6 weeks of the season, nobody was better. I would not take the Ray's staff over the Tigers right now in the playoffs. The Ray's pitchers had a better year, but right now no one is pitching better.The Rays. lol, he's the best we got. Just think that and you won't get frustrated. Kid has been clutch though, only two hits but both came in the 8th in close games. And that throw? Ridiculous.
