There's a theory out there that he's not a cow at all, but no confirmation.

They seem to be assuming it’s because the user agreement makes people who use the site agree not to “disparage, tarnish, or otherwise harm, in our opinion, us and/or the Site.” Perhaps it was a preemptive cancel. Hopefully that’s not the case and we learn more later.

I think this is a pretty good analysis:
Trump’s ban from Twitter in January 2021 platforms like Gab, Rumble, Parler, and Gettr saw a surge in popularity. “But those audiences have barely grown in the year since,” the Post reports. “in some cases, they even declined.
Right-wing influencers who saw steady growth in their audience on Twitter found their platforms severely diminished on the alt-right alternatives. Those who have dutifully followed Trump, Marjorie Taylor Greene and others to these apps are their most loyal acolytes. They’re preaching to the choir, and they are increasingly doing it in a vacuum.
And therein lies the problem. One can certainly debate whether Twitter has gone too far in policing speech — I think it has — but no one can argue that it markets itself as an echo chamber. You can still find robust debate and a plurality of thought and belief. Imperfect as it is, it still functions as a modern-day agora.
When viewed in this context, TRUTH Social and its predecessors are seen for what they are: far-right safe spaces

~Moderation is already stricter than other social media,nullifing the main draw to this product.
~The GOAL is to have a functioning product by the end of March. If you haven't noticed, people aren't this patient.
~Although there are millions of hard core Trump worshipers, that's the most customers they can count on having which is nothing compared to their competitors
~With the money, talent and hundreds of millions of built in users Alphabet has, they failed to launch a competing product.

Well, we know that this business will be a sinkhole for any non-insider investors eventually. But, $DWAC trades like $AMC and $GME in that it’s completely detached from the fundamentals so I wouldn’t short it if you’re into that sort of thing. These things can stay irrational longer than you can stay solvent, as the saying kind of goes.

I think my account has been approved and I'm in, but honestly not sure I downloaded the right app. Does it say "MAGA Hub" on the app icon and at the top of the main page? I was reading the feed and someone posted that this is not the real Truth Social app. Just checked the Google playstore and it does seem there are a few imposters out there.

Oh for sure, I certainly have no issue with conservatives having a place to share opinions. I just find it ironic and quite frankly hypocritical. But it’s certainly no surprise. People are people regardless of which team the root for.

I don't think it is available on the Google Play store yet, just on Apple. At least this was the case on Monday. Not sure if that's changed yet.

FWIW Trump or any of the other insiders can't sell anything until the SPAC is converted and right now it doesn't look like that will be any time soon.

I guess that they could have bought DWAC on the open market and made a fortune that way. I'm not sure what the rules are on that as SPACs aren't an area of expertise but would think that would be prohibited.
