Pretty strong for a 17th round pick. There are many late-round pitchers performing well in this thing -- Spartans was right on about the pitching depth.Hod = SODSammy3469 said:What's a Hod Lisenbee?

There are only four winning teams in the AL, and you're one of them. You've got a 9-game lead in the WC race, and you're pushing my Blackened Voodoo hard in the division (only one game back).I can post now. Didnt want to jinx myself. Win streak ended at 17. Sad thing is Im only tied for 1st after all those wins.
7-game slide now ... but you're still 5.5 games up in the division.3 straight games now where i gave up 4 or 5 runs in the final inning, as part of a current 6 game losing streak
8-1 in extra inning games here.Tremendous Upside said:25-9 in one run gamesMy team is full of clutchiness
Sorry I didn't give the Pelicans enough love. My team was ranked in the top 6 (4th maybe?) by those rankings. My unhappy reaction about my division draw is looking accurate as I'm in 3rd and 5 games over .500.#3, #4 and #5 better get their asses in gear so I don't look so bad.Quick TRE Rankings findings:
Three current division leaders are in his pre-season top 7. Five division leaders were in his top 12.
Lowest TRE-ranked division leader is my New Orleans Pelicans (50-39 before the pm2 game), ranked #17 pre-season. Lowest TRE-ranked winning team is boubucarow's Hit and Run squad (#18 pre-season, 56-51).
The worst team in W-L percentage, Welcome to Butland, was #21 in the TRE-rankings.
The highest TRE-ranked losing teams are Ned Garvin, Male Prostitute (#3, 38-51) and Cuckoo Christ & the Paradigm Shift (#4, 39-51). The preseason #5, Making a Messersmith, is also sub-.500 (41-48).
The teams with the best two W-L percentages were preseason ranked #6 (Sammy3469, 59-30) and #10 (Can You Hear the Drums Fernando?, 58-31)
Defense also seems to be a relative non-factor for the most part (I know I've been able to run on a few poor armed C's but besides that it doesn't seem to be crippling anyone.)He can only throw 4.12 IP/G since he only made 11 starts that year. How are you using him?speaking of hods, can someone explain to me like i'm shuke why hod eller is this kind of awful?Season Totals -- 78.1 400 1382 3 7 0 80 70 115 6 47 47 0 8.04 .326 2.07 in 78.1 innings, he has allowed 70 ER, 115 hits and 47 walks.his 1917 season was pretty solid.he beat the black sox in the 1919 WS in games 5 and 8, i never knew this. he had a good series, but obviously i know why.
Good Plays are over-weighted in the MVP calc. Roy Johnson may have 18 good plays in RF, but he also has 13 errors, the most in both leagues. Minnie Minoso should be the NL MVP. Among everyday starters, his 911 OPS is easily the best (Mike Greenwell and Johnny Mize have higher OPS but about 100 fewer plate appearances), and about 70 points higher than Roy Johnson's. Plus, Minoso has played the majority of his games at 3B, with a league-best range factor and only 8 errors and zero negative plays.Through 109 games:The American League MVP front-runner, Albert Pujols, was picked at 1.03. The National League MVP front-runner, Roy Johnson, was picked at 22.03.This is the first time I can remember fielding really factoring in to the sim MVP races. Maybe it's always been that way, and I just never noticed. But in WIS XIV, the three top OFs in the Good Plays stat are all in the MVP running: Barney McCosky (3rd NL), Roy Johnson (1st NL), and Tommy Agee (2nd AL). McCosky's MVP run is heavily dependant on his glove (1.000 FLD% in CF, 19 Good Plays) -- otherwise, he is a .265 hitter with a sub-.700 OPS.
So do I, GB.....so do I.This just in:I suck at this.

After the 6th, I have 3 games with Moops, Shake, RnR, Greco, Chemical X and 4 games with Tre. I am hoping to sim live a majority of those. When exactly can we play those games after the roster set date, the 7th or can we already?are we ever gonna teh sim live again or is this over? cause that would suck.
It's odd ... Roy Johnson, right now, is the Gold Glove leader among RFs. He's actually a D/A fielder -- it looks like that range has essentially made up for the weak glove.Good Plays are over-weighted in the MVP calc. Roy Johnson may have 18 good plays in RF, but he also has 13 errors, the most in both leagues.
McCosky is currently at 19 good plays (+9 over any other NL CF). He does not have a negative play or an error. He has 6 assists (3rd among NL CF) and is 2nd in RF among NL CF. Being the MVF of the NL is almost entirely the reason he is even in the MVP rankings. He could get to 100 runs but is at 269/346/357. He is a B+/A+ fielder. It's odd ... You're playing my squad right now ... I noticed you're trotting out several guys with fatigues of 90-95. Are you running out of at-bats, or have you left your squad on cruise control too long?Super Nintendo Chalmers said:I am not sure if I am going to win another game. In relative terms, I think you actually got it right -- the Blackened Voodoo is a much stronger squad than the Pelicans, statistically. Both teams can hit, but the Voodoo are a little better at bat. On top of that, the Voodoo have top-3 pitching, while the Pelicans pitching is hovering around league average. The Voodoo play in a stronger division, however. Plus, they are light on ABs, so guys have to play sub-100% from time to time. And I apparently picked the wrong stadium for the Voodoo ... they are juggernauts on the road, but only a few games over .500 at home.Sorry I didn't give the Pelicans enough love.
Should've consulted Koya. Better yet, should've waited until round 15 to draft a stadium like Koya.In relative terms, I think you actually got it right -- the Blackened Voodoo is a much stronger squad than the Pelicans, statistically. Check out last night's box score between our squads. Your SS, C, and CF started the game at 98 fatigue. If you don't have fresh backups at those positions, and thus are forced to consistently start guys at less than 100%, that's running out of at-bats.Starting batters at 99 or 98 isn't ideal, but it's not terrible. But look at SNC's squad from one of yesterday's box scores. All but one of his starters was below 100, and three were down to 90. Even his PH came in at 94. And my worst starting pitcher pitched a complete-game shutout against them. How do you know if you are running out of AB's etc? You're playing my squad right now ...
