We started drafting what would become WIS I in December of 2004. The WIS I season itself kicked off in February 2005.We were drafting for WIS II in May 2005, while I was in the middle of a move. I remember making a few picks from the apartment complex's "business center" computer before our household was set up.'Koya said:What year was the first of these? 2003? 4?
Wow. A LOT has changed.at that time, there were no iPhones, really no internet phones. I remember in some sim I got my first Internet ready type "smart phone" and it was a huge advantage for research on the run... Although whenever I refreshed the page it would repost my previous post. The Larry Plateau, which I believe was my Oliva trade, was done when I was between jobs, trying to make my own biz work, while getting plastered at a local dive bar one Tuesday. We started drafting what would become WIS I in December of 2004. We drafted WIS III sometime around August/September 2005. I remember Hoss sending out Baseball Tangent T-shirts. Also remember Badger and other FBG's offering to send pizza to my home after Hurricane Katrina.
I was buying a car during WIS IV drafting, putting that one in the December 2005-January 2006 time frame. Think larry_boy was looking for a ride then, as well.
My team blows. Getting a late pick in that thing is RUFF.I only started with the HOVG sim, but I love these things. BTTF 1 happened as I was going through 2 surgieries in 6 months and the distraction really helped.
Also looking forward to my impending beat down of everyone in WIS NBA BTTF 1, but that is a story for another thread.
Available.sorry. out goobing around with my 1.5 year old.

Going team scarcity here. Also, my first LHB probably has the sweetest left-handed swing I've ever seen, so that's a nice bonus.![]()

This is the kind of in depth analysis I come here for. Where else do you get T-ball scouting reports from 1966?!?!! Where else? It's all just numbers. Should be fine.I have Tony Gwynn playing 3B...Has Tony Gwynn ever, in his life, played 3B?who needs a 3B?you mean besides you?1. 1B George Sisler L

I'd avoid his 1966 season for sure. He didn't start hitting his stride until his 8th grade baseball season, where he hit .990 with a 1.823 SLG.FrancoApproved™Tony Gwynn at 3B? I would like to see that.1. 1B George Sisler L
