Online poker is back in the US, a start? (1 Viewer)

Ok I see now.  I bought $2.5MM in chips for $500.  So, $30MM in chips, that I'm currently holding, means....  holy crap

Global Poker, sells virtual currency (Gold Coins). These are virtual chips which you can accumulate and play with but they cannot be redeemed for real money.
When purchasing Gold Coins, players are given bonus sweepstakes prizes by way of $weeps Cash. The $weeps Cash can be used to buy into the $weeps Cash tournaments and ring games however any of these that are accumulated or won can be cashed out through PayPal as real cash prizes.
Sounds super legit.

40MM in coins now.  How much money do I have here???
Ah....I would say about zero....but you are an absolute Big Baller in the imaginary poker world at this point and to think you only had to compromise your identity for this feat.

Seriously confused about this, and how it's any different from all the poker sites of yesteryear where you had to send a picture of your drivers license to cash out.

Am I missing something here?

Other than about $500 for now, that's about it.

Almost 50MM of these fake dollars currently.  Bad at math.  No idea how much loot I have.  Anyone?

I currently have over 50 million gold goofy points.

Practicing math:

$500 = 2.5MM goofy gold coins

X = 50 million goofy gold coins

That means $2k per 10 million points.

So I think maybe I'm sitting on 10 grand here...

Seriously I think I have 10 grand here.  But I'm so shmahmmmered.  And bad at numebers

Gold coins are equal to play chips, sweeps cash is equal to real money.  The work around legally is you buy the gold coins which have no value and they give you sweeps cash for free, which has cash value.  From what I read on 2 plus 2, they pay out in 24 hours to paypal.

Interesting

For what it's worth I have a buddy who was paid out $1000 on this last week.

im ok with the workaround on this and if paypal and facebook have blessed it I think it's a good chance you get paid no problem.  Id be more concerned about the company spending the deposits and not separating player funds.

i say go for it.... but if you "run it up" I wouldn't leave a balance on there.  Get it out as soon as you win it.
