Orton outscores Matt Schaub in Week 2 (1 Viewer)

This has probably already been mentioned in this thread, but Orton was about 1 1/2 yards away from 2 more TD's. Royal was stopped at the 1-yard line on a catch, and Daniel Graham, I believe, was stopped at the 1/2-yard line on another catch. Orton's day could have easily been 300-yds/4-tds. Still a little below Schaub's monster day, but not by much. Not defending LHUCKS here, but he really didn't make that bad of a prediction this time.

That would be true if he predicted "Orton will do well." Or, "here is my prediciton for Orton's stats this week," followed by some kind of 300/2.5 ish statline. Either of those might have accidentally rendered the prediction and the thread useful.Happily, he didn't predict those things. He didn't even suggest Orton would do well. The only assertion made was that he would do better than Schaub, which couldn't have been much wronger.

1 QB Schaub, Matt HOU 1 38 52 497 3 1 1 2 0 0 36.111 QB Orton, Kyle DEN 1 25 35 307 2 0 3 -5 0 0 22.9Schuab 57% > than Orton. Not a bad prediction, just outright horrible.By the way, Dodds had orton at 18.3 and Sschaub at 20.3.

Well it could have been 58% wronger...The thing that confused me in this thread is that "mark it down, lock it up" = 20% chance of prediction being right. Is this taught in all LAC10 schools or just those in the desert?

Looking forward to the Week 3 Bold Call...I can already guess what it will be but we'll wait til the rankings come out.

The haters are welcome to bring the hate...makes it more fun.

can you actually post something substantive this time rather than

the terrible oneline prediction followed by pages and pages of insults and backpeddling is ok but i think you can do a little better

Can we start a Dodds sucks thread? I know LHUCKS gets it more for the WAY he goes about it, but in all reality, he's about as accurate as the FBGs when they stray from the consensus projections.

Just so you know, cluttering up the shark pool with you just making wild statements so you can try to get people to post replies because you somehow think that's fun will end badly for you. Don't do it.If you've got a real position with real reasoning to back it up, fine. But the idea of how much attention you can draw to yourself with stuff like this will not work when the forum here is at it's busiest time.
