Otis fad diet thread — yoga, fasting, and kevzilla walking on🚶‍♂️ (4 Viewers)

Weight loss kindof stalling this week so far, but my BF% finally dropped below 30% today.  Small victories.
Actually up 1/2 a pound this week, but my lean body mass is at it's highest point of the year.  Not doing any heavy weightlifting, just pushups and a ton of walking.

Weight lost: 17.4
Fat lost: 22.03

Do you peleton guys use the look pedals?  I never liked those pedals, can you change them to whatever you want?

Guess this is going to be my cheat day.  Heading to the Philly Auto Show with my son.  Stopped for lunch at the Reading Terminal Market.  Chicken cheesesteak at Molly Maloy's is going to throw everything off today.

But to paraphrase Tom Cruise from Risky Business every once in a while you've got to say "what the heck"!

Back on the wagon tonight.

Holy #### I was positive she was going to be wearing gear but it doesn't look like it to me.  She's jacked as ####.  Obviously on roids but still super impressive for a chick.
She's wearing a Tshirt so it's hard to tell, but there's no red flags from anything I saw.  Could be legit.  She competes on a tested circuit and I found her insta.  Her stuff checks out to me.

Women have different proportions and her squat isn't all that impressive.  Squats 314 and Benches 315 with a 424 dead.  That says she's got alligator arms.  You watch asians bench in the gym and tiny guys throw up 225 for reps and everyone is like wow.  But if you are moving the bar a full foot shorter that factors a TON.

What's amazing about that video is the spotter who is spotting someone attempting what I believe is a PR (Even if not it's a #### ton of weight) raises his hands up and takes his eye off his spot to celebrate right at the point where she sticks. That bull#### can get someone killed.

I use the lock pedals and like them but you can swap in any you want, the stems have a standard fitting.

Damn, I missed this! Reading this thread inspired me 10 days ago to hit the weight loss. Started at 236.2 and down to 225.4. Cut out the evils of Mt Dew, fast food, fried bits at gas stations and all breads, rice, etc. Good work in here!

On a more positive note, I will have tripled by best daily step total and then some.

So although I am not dieting hitting the potatoes hard today.

In an effort to clean out the cupboards/fridge ahead of the move I'm making spicy tomato sauce that I'll have with the last boiled Peruvian potatoes ever (for me at least)

I cannot get my fitbit to sync my exercise to myfitnesspal

Forget that it finally did 2 hours later

First day of my fitbit was eye opening. I've been underestimating my boot camp class (560 calories instead of 360) and I'm well below average on steps (8000 is average, I couldn't Crack 5000).

Tracking steps is something I've done for a long time - I sit at a desk all day, I can easily only get a few thousand (walking to and from  bus) - before when I used exercise to lose I would try and average 10k-15k a day.  We would have competitions and I would some days get 20k+.  I think it really helps.

I drive to work. I'll try on Monday getting to 8000 but id literally have to get up to walk every 15 minutes.

Yep, it's tough.  We have a walking desk at the office.  I would  come in and spend the first hour on it while doing email.  I'd spend 5-10 minutes before and after lunch walking and then 30 minutes during lunch.  Then walk in the evening.  It added up but you are right, it's tough to do.

If you're gonna cheat, go to DiNic's, man!

Had a good week and a great day today. 10 minute warm-up run, 45 minutes of chest, abs, back, and shoulders, finishing with 35 minutes of intense hill climb. And then 30 minutes in the sauna.

Although I think I'm at a plateau. Haven't seen much weight loss this week. Been eating well.

Soaking in the tub right now, enjoying  a cold brew. Wife already hinted that she wants the secks tonight.

:pickle: :headbang:

Yeah this isn't my life.  "Honey I'm going to the gym for two hours."

Dipped into the 252s today.  A little too much food Wednesday night at the boy's commitment event pushed me back into the 256 range.

Morning workout - Back, tris, hips, calves followed by 4000 m row (20 min) and .6 mi walk.

Breakfast - 4 egg whites and 4oz steak and one cup popcorn

Lunch - 6 pieces of baked chicken and 120 cal of cheetos  :bag:

Evening workout - 1010 calorie cardio workout: 10 min aerodyne bike, 15 min treadmill progressive incline, 10 min spin bike, 10 min stair climber, 10 min step ups, 10 min row, 10 min treadmill.

Dinner - 4 oz pork lion, 1/2 cup peas, 1/2 cup rice/beans.

Looking like a 1-2 pound week if I can survive the Big Game.

Agreed to go see La La Land with the wife and daughter last night (wasn't too bad actually).  Took a couple shots of vodka with me, got home and had a few beers and a whole frozen pizza.  Slept until 7:30 and I still need to lift and cardio.   :topcat:
