i love it gator.   i give this dietary selection a week but i'm pulling for you.

Good news: this thing works REALLY well

Ronco Chip-Tastic with Slice-o-Matic https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00BHLBL0E/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_c_api_RRdGybRCXNJ6G

Badnews, if you're rushing and not paying attention it WILL shave about 1/4" thick slice off your middle finger on your right hand. :lol:

Have no fear. I plan to use my new flat-tipped finger's powers for good and not evil. :gang1:  Plus that's like an ounce or two of weight loss right there! :championship:
I purchased this and it was delivered today.  Not bad, had to cook them way longer in the micro than advertised, but they were pretty good.

Also picked up a waffle iron and took some boiled potatoes with skins, hand mashed with cayenne and seasoned salt and put them in the waffle iron.  Crispy potato on the outside and soft on the inside.  Wow, they were great, if only I could get myself to try and make that gravy @ProstheticRGK posted I would be all set.

Almost 5 lbs lost AND the Falcons are in the Super Bowl!!  Great week!*

*I was going to mention that Liverpool lost but I'm in too good of a mood**

**#### Liverpool***

***I love you Gator

Very good chance that I'm up in weight this week despite being well below my calorie goal everyday and working out 5 of 7 days.  Surprising considering my pants are literally falling off where I could barely squeeze into them before.  I'm going to assume it's muscle gain as I struggled to bench 225 once a week ago and did 8 reps of 205 Saturday on basically fuel of a jar of pickles, 90 cal of lunch meat, and two beers over the previous 48 hours.  Very frustrating.

I'm jealous. We started at almost the same weight and you're blowing my doors off. I'm eating 1500 calories a day (only one day above 1800) and working out 4 days a week. Not sure it's possible for me to lose 4lbs in a week. I just have a very slow metabolism.

@fantasycurse42 1/23/17 weigh-in 233.1

Just goes to show how weird weight can vary.  By my calorie count I should have lost at least a pound and I only boozed on Friday and Saturday.  The other 5 days were on point.  I can already see the small love handles shrinking and my pants are fitting better.  Oh well, on to this week.

To be honest - I'm kind of shocked by this week.  I ate clean the entire week - I've basically had 3 almost perfect weeks but I'm not working out virtually AT ALL.  I pushed some dumbbells around twice in my bedroom but neither was really a workout.  @Chaka has me convinced on the NEAT - I've stayed busy all day.  No sitting down in the recliner for longer than 20 minutes.  Don't get in the bed until it's time to go to bed.  Not coincidentally, but my house, garage and cars are the cleanest they've been in a while.  I'm driving my family nuts with all the cleaning - they think I've developed OCD but little do they know it's my secret weight loss trick.

Next projects - finish a room in my basement and work on my son's car with him to get it running before he turns 16.

195.4 this morning.  No progress really in the last week.  I just seem to be stuck at this weight.  I am fasting today.  Hopefully that will break me through.

Yeah weight fluctuates dramatically for me too. I can weigh myself tomorrow and lose another lb out of nowhere. As long as its heading in the right direction is good.

Potato waffle for breakfast, made it last night and heated up in the toaster at work this morning.  Everyone was saying it smelled delicious and it was.

Back to a regular lunch today, some grilled chicken breast, cucumbers, celery, peppers, tomato and an apple

And a word of advise for those of your who actually do lose weight (Otis and Woz you can ignore the rest of this post), do not buy a majority of your pants at your absolute thinnest.  I made this mistake and even though it's awesome to be able to do at the time, if you gain even a relatively minor amount of weight (10 - 20lbs), the pants will no longer fit as you'd like.  I have either fat pants or skinny pants, almost none in between.  It's motivating yet kind of sucks at the same time.

@fantasycurse42

Weighed in at 205.0 at 7:50 AM on 1-23-2017.  Down a total of 4.6 pounds in the last 3 weeks.

The easy weight loss is behind me.  Only down 0.6 pounds since last week but this is right in line with my goal of losing 0.5 pounds/week.

Impressive numbers being logged again by a few posters.  You guys are killing it.

@fantasycurse42 weighed yesterday, 201.0 same as last week, I know I had a crappy week bc of work. On the bright side, I finally got back on the ice sunday after my knee surgery in November, so hopefully I'll be back playing hockey again 1-2x per week to get myself moving more

Looking for under 200 next week.

Down to 220!*

*This may be an "alternate fact".  The reality may actually be that I had a 4 day golf tournament where my diet consisted of a liter of whisky, gallons of beer, and a side of not giving a ####.  Toasts were had as well after taken a bunch of money off Trump supporters. As such, I haven't stepped on a scale as my body is still recovering.  Getting back on the proverbial horse today.  I feel like absolute crap.

What ever happened to the guy that was smoking weed to be more productive at work and reduce his cravings for unhealthy food? Seemed like such a well thought out plan?
