Otis fad diet thread — yoga, fasting, and kevzilla walking on🚶‍♂️ (1 Viewer)

Catered lunch today, chicken shawarma and marinated pork shoulder with some rice and pita.

If I stick with the chicken and avoid the tahini, I'm good...

I really need some inspiration here.  Struggling to care.
Yeah I took over a grand off some Trump supporters this past weekend while hammered.  Immediately thought to myself, "sweet! I covered my weight loss bets no problem and then some!"

Assistant just walked in with a dozen cupcakes.  Lunch meeting with another attorney shortly.  The motivation isn't entirely there right now.

Haven't really shared much outside of the weigh-ins. Guess I could give some meal updates every now and then. This week for lunch: pizza.

Joseph's Pita

Rao's Homemade

Shredded Mozzarella, Shredded Cheddar

Pepperoni

I like making lunch at work. Less time spent working. :)

Interesting

Might try finding these and save an hour smashing cauliflower
I find them at Publix in the deli area, not sure what part of the country you're in. Kroger doesn't stock them in Nashville.

I average one a day, does get a little pricey, but having anything breadlike is a godsend. Toast them whole to make an individual size crust, or tear apart and toast to make chips/croutons.

Mainly I use them for wraps/tacos/sandwiches.

Repost this this weekend.  I have to create a line item for you and I can't do it on the tablet I have right now since I'm at a conference.  My work computer won't let me access google sheets due to security issues.

Those look interesting. Unsure of the ingredients...

wheat protein isolate, vital wheat gluten, oat fiber, modified wheat starch, almond flour, flax seed meal, olive oil, chicory root, high protein patent flour, apple cider vinegar, yeast, salt, stevia.

I do very little wheat, so its a little concerning to me

There's still time to full bale and win this thing.
I've honestly thought about it. I googled it again the other day just to be sure I was remembering it right. Yup.  One can of tuna and one apple every day.

Sheesh. Thats hard.  But maybe legendary.

Protein bar for lunch. Was around 300 cals in before dinner.  Went egg crazy. Two hard boiled eggs, three frozen egg white patties heated up with a piece of cheese and turkey on whole wheat. Totally stuffed and probably still under 1k cals for the day. Feel great.

If i could just put this day on loop x infinity this would be easy. WHY IS IT SO HARD

Wine is the most healthful and most hygienic of beverages. -Louis Pasteur

I think it is a great error to consider a heavy tax on wines as a tax on luxury. On the contrary, it is a tax on the health of our citizens. -Thomas Jefferson

Compromises are for relationships, not wine. -Sir Robert Scott Caywood

Wine cheers the sad, revives the old, inspires the young, makes weariness forget his toil. -Lord Byron

Either give me more wine or leave me alone. -Rumi

Bottles of red wine staring me down HARD from over on the counter.
See here's the thing. You are well under your calorie goal for the day. You could have 2-3 glasses and still end the day well under. Just don't let the wine open the door to oreos and pop tarts.

This is fair.

I worry somewhat about the side effects of alcohol, impacting sleep, bloating, etc.  So I'm probably better off without it.  But perhaps one glass won't kill me......

One glass is good for you and will make you feel awesome...

Daybreak - 20 min treadmill walk and 30 min of lifting.

Breakfast - coffee and 4 egg whites, 100 cal

Lunch - one chicken breast and pico, 150-170 cal

Snack - 1/4 chicken breakfast, 35 cal

Evening workout - 5 x 15 min cardio, aerodyne bike, treadmill jog, rowing machine, stair climber, spin bike, 15 min stretching

Dinner - Vension burger (no bun), one baked potato, asparagus, 400-500 cal

After dinner walk (planned) - 2 miles

Probably a 1000 calorie deficit.  Should be good for a pound loss on the day.

There's a beer staring at me in the fridge but my charity needs the money more than I need the calories.

Got back up on that horse today. Water all day. Protein bar for breakfast. Sashimi salad and Japanese seafood stew for lunch. Organic tamale for dinner. Ran five miles as well.

That cupcake? Well we aren't going to talk about that cupcake.

Getting up early and putting in work in the weight room is a fine way start your day my friends.

Let's Go!

That must be a very jiggly 5 mile run.

This morning's weigh-in puts me down over 10lbs.  I'll take it

I'm only 12lbs above my recent low of last year.  :flex:

Now, the challenge part.  I leave Saturday for work, to spend two weeks in a hotel doing nothing but working and eating big catered meals all day long.  It's like a movie set.  The question is whether I can sustain over these two weeks.  Usually I go away for these things and put on 10lbs while I'm there.

On the bright side, with no million kids in tow, no excuse for me not to hit the gym, even just for 15 mins of cardio and 15 of weights most days.  A little exercise will be nice.  But we all know the working out has nothing to do with the results here; it's all about the eating habits.  So, fingers crossed that I can piece it together this time.  I think the key will be to find some kind of routine, and always seek out the healthy stuff when the food rolls out.
