Played basketball (or something that closely resembled it) with my 10-yr old and the neighbor kid.  I was gassed within 2 minutes of actually playing.  I had to call 3 TOs :lmao:  and eventually had to just sit and they lie down :bag:  - good news is I didn't die.

I don't like activity and don't like the way fitbits look.

I got a Withings yesterday. Loaded the app on my phone and the lowest activity level it would permit me to enter was 3000 steps and I only managed to get 1420, mostly by pacing during the timeouts of the Cowboys game.

I've a very bad back and knee, but I can see myself getting a lot better doing it every day. 

How do these things measure cycling and swimming?

 
I'm already falling apart, and I'm two weeks away from a two week business trip in a hotel with catered food.  Oof

On the bright side, I'm pretty sure the hotel has a small gym, and I'll have no children or wife there, so there's really no excuse for me to NOT spend 45 minutes each day on an elliptical and some weights.  So if I can somehow resist the urge to eat garbage in those two weeks, it's a chance for a little healthy vacation and good habits for 15 or 16 days.  May be just what I need.

Oh and thanks, MLK, for the holiday.  Instead of fasting today, I'm home, drinking Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stouts and snacking.  Although food has been OK; for lunch we seared a couple of tuna steaks with some soy and wasabi.  
I have a dream... to not be a fat ####

 
Last Thur/Fri I started feeling really jiggy, as I am wont to do after low carb/keto. S I injected a few exrta carbs over the weekend and even had a couple of beers. Still lost four lbs.and will go back hardcore today. Once i get down 30-40 lbs. I will transition to Paleo. Far healthier than Atkins and possible to sustain long term. ITs just quite a bit slower in weight loss.

Wife and I always love to order pizza on the last day of a 3-day weekend...especially when it's cold.

Been pretty consistent with walking/jogging/body weight exercises 4-5 days a week. ####ty weather tonight will likely keep me indoors. Now looking like may take the GF to Lyfe Kitchen again, which has become somewhat of a favorite place of ours lately... one of the few places you can comfortably eat very healthily for a fair price. 

 
Went out to the gun range for a while.  Shot a lot of money into some targets (11 year old's first time shooting, so that was cool).  On the way home the kids were predictably starving - ended up at Taco Bell.  I ate nothing in there :flex:.  And I love to TB, too.  Sitting at 550 calories for the day.  Some bodyweight stuff and a decent meal to finish out MLK.

Wife asked me to pick up some cat food on the way home from work.  Grabbed a Dr Pepper and a pound of M&Ms.

so far since diet, 2x in 16 days, so slightly under 1, although this is moving up my rankings so things can change.

 
Weigh in is looking like it is going to be good.  However unofficial weigh in comes after I eat dinner.  But first, time to go burn some calories.

 
Trying the cauliflower crust pizza again. Drained it three times and added crushed red pepper, garlic salt and slivered almonds. 

NOT forgetting the pizza sauce this time :thumbup:

Next time, really trying to get the crust thin. Got parts of it crispy, but still really soft in the middle.

In all seriousness, I've been a silent reader/lurker in this thread for awhile and I'm proud of all of you guys for doing this. You are inspiring me to start losing some weight and I wish I could join in on the fun. I just bought the glass weight watchers scale from Costco this weekend and I'm at my heaviest weight ever. I'm not as heavy as some here and I would definitely bring the average weight down for the group but I need to do something. 

Good luck to everyone. I'm pulling for all of you.

Breakfast / Lunch - 300 cal of chicken

Dinner - 3 oz NY Strip, 1/2 cup mashed potatoes, broccoli for a total of 513 cal

Exercise - 3.1 mile walk, 20 min on the bike, 40 min lifting for a total of 902 calories

813 in, 902 out.

Jesus. You lost 20lbs in 2 weeks??

This thing is in the bag. I'd be happy to lose that in 3 months.
