Sounds like a future spin-off!Zeke is going to take down Navarro, Javi, and the Byrdes. He ends up running the entire cartel before he hits his first birthday.
Zeke and Three take over.Sounds like a future spin-off!

It looked to me like the accident was caused by a big rig trying to pass a car, and the rig was in Marty's lane so he had to swerve to the grass to miss it, and he lost control of the van. Also, I think you'll see that Three, with his extensive background in auto repair, is the one that sabotaged the Byrde's vehicle to cause the accident.
Agreed. To me it seemed obvious during that scene they focused on the fact that Marty wasn't paying much attention to driving at the time given the amount of screen time focusing on him driving and sort of daydreaming somewhat at the time.It looked to me like the accident was caused by a big rig trying to pass a car, and the rig was in Marty's lane so he had to swerve to the grass to miss it, and he lost control of the van.
Now that I'm thinking about the last episode, how come Maya was so upset in the last episode? I thought the plan all along was Omar would be a free man.
Dude....with all due respect, no one should be in this thread now and not expect spoilers.well.... guess ill remember to act shocked around the wife when we watch ep7 tonight.![]()
Maya wanted him to do time. When he made the deal with her bosses to work for them and avoid jail, she still had him arrested. Then Javi made the deal and Omar got sent back to Mexico iirc, so Maya is double pissed that he still avoided jail. Now that I'm thinking about the last episode, how come Maya was so upset in the last episode? I intentionally didn't read this thread for the first 5 days after release for fear of a spoiler.
Lol apparently that's the way the real life Anna talksWhat is that accent? I had to stop after 45 seconds.
Oh so the Byrdes tricked Maya also? I guessed I missed that.Maya wanted him to do time. When he made the deal with her bosses to work for them and avoid jail, she still had him arrested. Does she tie into the Mexican Cartel?
I was having a hard time following the subtleties of who was getting over on who at the end there.Oh so the Byrdes tricked Maya also? I guessed I missed that.Maya wanted him to do time. No the Head guy FBI changed the deal they all thought they were meeting forOh so the Byrdes tricked Maya also? I guessed I missed that.

But I thought Omar never wanted to set foot in a prison and that was the original deal and the FBI changed it to them wanting him to run the cartel for 5 more years. Neither of those deals included prison time.No the Head guy FBI changed the deal they all thought they were meeting for
Byrdes didn't care which deal as long as they were out. So when the FBI guy switched it, The Byrdes talked Omar into taking that deal. Remember Omar said they will #### him after the 5 years was up, when they had the "sidebar" in the mall
The accent she use is terrible, just flat out bad.jamny said:
He has to, otherwise if this is all it is, it's a completely unnecessary character to introduce.PI gonna have any real role here or just a side story?
And that's not even factoring in Tony Pollard eating into his workload.falguy said:Zeke's been through a lot in his, what, 8 months of life?

Perhaps everything ultimately works out for the Byrdes with respect to the FBI and the cartel. And then they all die in a car accident at the end of the series finale.Thinking about the opening scene:
1. Jonah still has a stick up his ###, but Wendy seems out of her manic phase
2. Family seems to have worked out a deal with FBI - one more meeting.
3. Seems a little touch-and-go - asking about "their temperature"
4. Can't believe they are walking away if Javi is still alive and running the cartel
5. Sounds like the are not "running" since they still have the casino, and presumably the Byrde Foundation.
So, I am expecting some kind of civil war in the Navarro Cartel, where Omar ousts/kills Javi. If the Byrdes are cutting a deal with the FBI - they must be providing intel, and most likely cash from the cartel. Maybe the cartel implodes in the civil war, and Marty is able to get the money out and to the FBI before anyone of consequence knows anything about it.
Knowing the Byrde's luck, I think the accident will impact their ability to complete their deal with the FBI - perhaps they survive the accident, but I don't see this as a happily ever after show.
Yeah, the way the showrunner was talking (saying as much as the Byrdes seem to able to control situations sometimes life has other plans) I have a feeling that is what is going to happen as well and it would absolutely SUCK.Perhaps everything ultimately works out for the Byrdes with respect to the FBI and the cartel. And then they all die in a car accident at the end of the series finale.
If they die in a car crash that is lazy writing. It would leave a bad mark on an awesome show.Perhaps everything ultimately works out for the Byrdes with respect to the FBI and the cartel. And then they all die in a car accident at the end of the series finale.
I considered that but would they show it ahead of time?Perhaps everything ultimately works out for the Byrdes with respect to the FBI and the cartel. And then they all die in a car accident at the end of the series finale.
Right, if they did actually die that way they would want it to come out of nowhere. They wouldn't want to leave it hanging over the whole season for people to dissect and come to that conclusion. I still think they may take advantage of the situation to fake their death (not planned but since the accident happened why not type of decision).I considered that but would they show it ahead of time?
One can hope.Perhaps everything ultimately works out for the Byrdes with respect to the FBI and the cartel. And then they all die in a car accident at the end of the series finale.
kinda how I looked at it. If they did that, you’d have to think it would be like the end of No Country for Old Men but they don’t survive.I considered that but would they show it ahead of time?

They wrapped up filming so the ending is set.Could the ending still possibly be in the works and yet to be filmed? They show the car crash scene with a number of “ideas” in mind for the ending, but ultimately they use the coming months to read stuff like this thread and dissect what the public thinks would be a great ending, a crappy ending, or come up with something that nobody is really theorizing.
With the 2 part finale and months in between they have the time to do it. Also takes away any risk of the actors/staff leaking the ending.
I’m rooting for Marty to get his revenge on Wendy at some point. Outside that I don’t really care how it ends, although I have a feeling that Ruth may “win” and somehow go from white trash to drug overlord. Which will seem ridiculous but most of the show is - in a great way though.Could the ending still possibly be in the works and yet to be filmed? I don't think Ruth with end up as drug overlord. I think she'll get out of it safely. But it will look like she's broke. And screwed. But it will turn out that Marty, who died, had set her up with a bunch of cash and a new life, etc. So his final act will have been saving her.I’m rooting for Marty to get his revenge on Wendy at some point. I would be okay with this. now that Darlene is gone, everything else is gravy.I don't think Ruth with end up as drug overlord. I think she'll get out of it safely. But it will look like she's broke. Isn't this the ending the BB? LolI don't think Ruth with end up as drug overlord. I think she'll get out of it safely. But it will look like she's broke. And screwed. Beat me to it.Isn't this the ending the BB? Lol
I definitely think they let Ruth "win" but give her an actual happy ending -- Jesse Pinkman style. Gets away clean with the money or something like that.I’m rooting for Marty to get his revenge on Wendy at some point.
