Strange to me that there seems to be less support for this guy who actually went after cops (tree of liberty must be watered, blah, blah, blah) than for Dorner, who killed two civilians who were only tangentially related to his problems with the police department. Is that because Dorner was previously a cop? Because of the difference in race? Because Dorner was a better looking fella?

So just heard on the radio that at this point, cops think Frein is taunting them by leaving things where he knows they'll find them. He'll appear and basically WANTS to be seen, but will be in places they can't get to quickly. He leaves his diapers, and apparently some unique brand of cigarette butts around too. This guy knows what he's doing.

I've never been in those woods, but they sound pretty vast and intense. I've been up near Jim Thorpe PA and that area, and I know some of the mountains are crazy steep.

Police are apparently are now searching the abandoned Buck Hill Inn Hotel/Resort. Frein was known to go there from time to time. Looking at the pictures, that place is enormous and really creepy looking now that it's abandoned. This has to be a policeman's worst nightmare. I can't imagine him not killing at least 1 more cop. He could be anywhere in that place, and unless they literally know the place inside and out, he could evade them for quite a while.
