**Packers at Jaguars** (+4, 49.5) 1:00 (1 Viewer)

Scary situation in North Florida for sure.
The Jags are back from their extended London vacay, that's scary.
The Pack seem back,that's scary.
I think this game will be very high scoring, that's scary.
I think the over/under on this game will be shattered, like old windows in a haunted house during a thunder storm.
If LaMar doesn't mind I think the two starting quarterbacks will be first and second in fantasy points this week, that's scary.
Please keep all hands and arms inside your house at all times and buckle your seat belts, this one will be a wild and scary ride.
Ready???

The Scary Returning Jaguars- 37
The Scary We Are Back Pack- 34

The Pack are going to SHRED the Jags through the air. Love is going to have a kickass game imo.
That would seem to be the easy path today but it smells more like a trap game IMHO
How do the Packers typically do in Florida? Should be great weather and the fan bas in Jacksonville hasn't seen the team in about a month or so.

Agreed. This very well could be a trap game. Packers play the Lions next week and could be caught overlooking the Jaguars.

Aaron Rodgers and Matt Flynn both hold the record for the most passing yards in a game by a Green Bay Packers quarterback with 480 yards.

:oldunsure:

Dear God, that might be a costly defensive penalty on the field goal.

I love how Dontayvion Wicks comes in and I get excited. Then he blocks for Jacobs. Nice.

probably in the minority but there is something off about Jordan Love that makes me think he is not a very good real life QB. He is missing something that I cannot put my finger on.

I almost never do that. I only do that when people take a position that is untenable, and they continue to keep harping on it until an injury or something hobbles the player.

I’m not a Green Bay fan, but I believe you’ve been rather vocal about Jordan Love in the past and that your recent musings might be confirmation bias. Yeah, wildly confirming your own previous position and you know you’re in the football minority.

Fair, but doesn’t change the opinion.
I think that was his point. Nothing will change your opinion.

Fair point.

Boy, as good as Brian Thomas, Jr. has been for fantasy he fights the football an awful lot.

That’s going to cost him soon. Also needs to work back through the defender for the football instead of letting the DB carry him away from the ball while he drifts.

Fix up fixable problems like that and he’s a legit WR1-WR12 overall, and not just for his potential.

I need to give myself a tattoo that says "If Press Taylor is still calling plays, don't draft anyone on Jacksonville."

Bigsby looks like a strong runner, Engram is back, Kirk is there, Thomas is dynamic, Lawrence has all the tools, but:

1. They're basically never under center
2. They rarely seem to run successful play action
3. They don't put guys in motion nearly enough
4. They call run plays out of shotgun all the time

I also think their pass plays seem often long developing. I don't think their guys are unable to get open, I think Lawrence has to hold to let plays develop far too often.

Jax is just a mess. They looked like they were going places 2-3 years ago and had their franchise QB. Now they look like one of the worst teams in the NFL. Odd
