You guys are a little more savvy than I am about betting. What is the general consensus when we see a line moving one direction or another? Or is it just a function of where the action is going and oddsmakers are responding to that? I've heard people say things like "oh the line just means that's where they'll get money on both sides", which seems like a hot garbage take when we see 80% of the money going to the Dolphins over the Jets tomorrow.

There's not one answer. But usually a a bunch of money comes in late, or injury news.
. Just by reading posts in here. I am guessing the injury report from the Pack is moving the line.

• 1974 - last one at Tiger Stadium, it was cold and rained much of the day. guy in front of us popped a big golf umbrella. my uncle asked him to kindly put it away as it was blocking the little boy's view. he declined. Uncle Fred bought a bag of roasted peanuts and we spent the second half dumping the shells on the guy's umbrella. Otis Armstrong had a big day. Broncos 31, Detroit 27.
• 1976 - second year in the Silverdome, once again a guest of my dentist Uncle Fred. O.J. Simpson ran for an NFL record 273 yards but Detroit won 27-14.
• 1981 - Billy Sims v the late Joe Delaney. Detroit 27, Kansas City 10.

Wifey and I are going to a game next year in Detroit. If they play at home the Sunday before Thanksgiving we'll make it a twofer as we're planning on being in Michigan for about 11 days.

Yeah. Had no real hope anyway. Was hoping Jaire or Campbell could go to try to slow the Lions offense and Wicks to help open up the offense.
