Packers-Steelers Saturday Night (1 Viewer)

Didn't see one so here it is.

Both offenses look sluggish so far. No Parker for the Steelers and they turned the ball over on their first possession on a fumble by Roethlisberger. The Packers' offense looks terrible. They haven't tried to run and Favre hasn't connected with his receivers. Packers' D looks solid but it's difficult to gauge because there is a massive drop-off from Parker to Davenport in the Pittsburgh running game.

Even though Green Bay didn't run the ball yet, who has been lined up as the starting RB?

Both teams using spread receiver looks. That's to be expected from the Steelers. For the Packers, they've been going four wides with Driver, Jennings, Jones and Ferguson.

Third three and out for the Packers. Jackson with two carries for five yards. Driver with a drop on third down.

Green Bay using a lot of 3 and 4 WR sets. Nothing exciting on either team's O. Packers have had a couple of tough drops.

Green Bay D looking very solid, but like packersfan stated, Parker isn't playing. Ben is now out too.

So the Packers defensive line is dominating the Steelers offensive line?

I'd just like to throw out there that I added the 'Sports Pack' on DirectTV today, JUST so I could get the broadcast of tonight's game on the Fox Pitssburgh channel. The game is blacked out due to the fact that the game is not sold out.

Steelers suck.

Fourth straight three and out by the Packers. Jackson got two carries and looked pretty bad. Favre's timing with his receivers is non-existent.

I'm watching the game on FSN.

I wouldn't say dominating, but they certainly looked good plugging holes and getting some pressure on Ben at times.

The Steelers at least have a good excuse with Parker out. This is the Packers' best group.

And I'm assuming you're in the Pit area... it's everywhere outside that's restricted, according to the DirectTV rep...

Favre's out. 2-7 for 7 yards.Jackson continuing to conjure up memories of Darrell Thompson and Vince Workman.
Ouch! Is he looking that bad?At least Harris and Woodson aren't playing tonight.
I heard tonight that he hasn't been doing anything in camp to win the job. But he may be thinking to much. I watch all of OJ Andersons pre-season game and he was horrible then ran for a record in the first game.

Cullen Jenkins 2 sacks.
I think the Packers are going to have a solid defense. However, I also think they could have some bad fourth quarters as they get worn down because they're on the field so much due to their highly suspect offense. So from a fantasy perspective, I'd only view them as a No. 2 defense or part of a Defense By Committee. I could see them forcing turnovers but giving up a lot of points - especially in the fourth quarter.

In an IDP league these are the type of players you have to look at. He has two sacks, forced fumble, and a fumble recovery. It was probably against Batch but KGB may not even play on third downs at this rate.

He's a good back if there are some open holes for him to run through. Doesn't sound like the Packers offense line is winning the battle. They went with a fast puny line. They must not be chop blocking very well.

The Steelers team D has to be moving back up among the top of the rankings. Wicked.
I do think the Steelers' D will be better this season but keep in mind the Packers' offense is pathetic. Favre and Driver are the only players on the offense at the skill positions who are clearly above-average talent. Jennings could get there but their RBs are below average; they have no depth at WR and their talent at TE is abysmal.

James Jones seems to be getting alot of action!

Locking up the #3 spot with K-ROB coming back in Sept. and rounding out a decent 4 wide set?

Rodgers looking ok but not dynamic. Jones is easily the biggest bright spot for the Packers' offense so far tonight.
