I think Philly is as safe as it gets Survivor wise. They are the exact worse case matchup for Carolina. Who struggles to stop the run, struggles to stop the deep ball, and struggles against running QBs.
Personally, I think the Eagles should scale back Barkley a lot this week, like under 20 touches, because I'm worried he could be burnt out come January. If I were calling the offense, this would be a pass 1st game script, with the ability to pivot back to running if that is failing. Not saying that is what will happen, just that I think its what should happen. I expect all of Hurts, Barkley, AJ to be great starts this week. AJ Brown especially is due for a long TD or 2. Its been a little frustrating watching him, as he's arguably as good a WR as there is in the NFL, and he's seeing 5-6 targets when he should be seeing 10-12. Again, I'd want to get Hurts going now and not have to make it work in January should someone slow/stop Barkley then.
I want no part of any Panthers this week. I think they'll be lucky to score in the double digits.
