Patriots v. Colts TV Schedule (1 Viewer)

Only two late games on CBS this week, HOU v. OAK and of course NEP v. IND. If the Raiders don't sellout, the Bay Area will get to see the most hyped game of the season!

Anyone know what game is going to be shown on the LA feed of CBS (DirecTV 81)? When NEP played DAL, they showed the OAK v. SD game instead, hoping for the better game this time....

If you get Directv, what are you worried about? The Colts-Pats game will be on Sunday Ticket no matter what happens with the Oakland game.

I believe you get no game if it is blacked out. As painful as the OAK-HOU game may be, it's better than watching MASH reruns.

As a Pats fan living in the Bay Area, I fear an OAK sellout so I went to raider.com to see what tickets were available vs. Houston. As of Thursday last week, I could get singles on the 50 in the middle deck (prime seats) and pairs in the 2nd deck towards the endzone, but still on the sideline. I could get a pair of 3rd deck seats near midfield as well. I'll check again Wednesday, but so far it bodes well to an Indy/Pats game on TV :nerd:

Monday 10/29 check:

- Best 2 available - section 146 (prime seats)

- Best 4 available - section 149 (good seats, corner of endzone, slightly obstructed)

Prognosis of Pats/Colts on TV in Bay Area: :D

Tuesday 10/30 check:

- Best 2 available - section 247 (good seats, sideline in endzone)

- Best 4 available - section 318 (good seats, 40yd line)

Prognosis of Pats/Colts on TV in Bay Area: :pickle:

Wednesday 10/31 check:

- Best 2 available - section 247 (SAME AS YESTERDAY!)

- Best 4 available - section 318 (SAME AS YESTERDAY!)

Prognosis of Pats/Colts on TV in Bay Area: :grad:

Thursday 11/1 check (90 minutes before blackout deadline):

- Best 2 available - section 149 (See Monday)

- Best 4 available - section 316 (45yd line)

Prognosis of Pats/Colts on TV in Bay Area: :pickle:

This is bull. The "decision" on showing Pats/Colts or Texans/Raiders in the Bay Area has been extended until 4pm today. I guess this means the sellout deadline has been extended as well. Right now (2:20pm PDT Friday), on ticketmaster.com there are a ton of tickets still available.

Come on, local CBS affiliate...get on with it!

I don't know if it's official, but they just said the Raiders will be blacked out on Around the Horn.

:goodposting: :goodposting:

The Mercury News had an amusing item regarding the Fresno CBS affiliate. Fresno, dubbed a Raiders stronghold, originally planned on showing Texans/Raiders, but CBS called them and asked them what the heck they were thinking from a ratings standpoint. Yesterday they reconsidered and are now showing Pats/Colts.

Interesting tidbit from the SF Gate:

Since the Raiders moved back to Oakland in 1995, 61 of their 99 home games have been blacked out locally, including this year's Cleveland game. Here are the top five NFL teams in blackouts since the Raiders' return:.1. Cardinals 782. Raiders 613. Falcons 484. Saints 435. Seahawks 40

Updated.

NFL TV Map

Only Houston and Cleveland don't get the game, and I heard that the Houston affiliate is trying to simulcast it on other network on cable.
College Station, not Houston, tried doing that and actually was successful in getting KWTX from Waco piped in on one of the cable channels. Apparently the NFL got wind of this (it was announced in the paper, so it wasn't hard for the league to find out) and have nixed these plans.

It's official: Raiders game is blacked out in the SF Bay Area!

Link

Amazing...CBS has 228 affiliates and only 3 are showing Texans/Raiders, all in the Houston area.

It wouldn't shock me if the Raiders/Texans game ended up being the better of the two. They're both evenly matched which isn't exactly saying much. I don't think anybody stands up to the Patriots not even the Colts.
