Patriots vs. Bills (1 Viewer)

This is exactly what I was worried about for the Patriots tonight... this looks nothing like the 07 team. They better come out in the second half with some fire. One Brady-Moss td and I should win, don't let me down boys
That's why they are record-setting season, perfect storms of fantasy football.

Brady doesn't look quite as invincible when he can't just stand back there like a statue and pick out his receivers.
He's no Roethlisberger. That's for sure.
Different QBs with different strengths, but I can say that I seriously doubt the Steelers win the SB last year with Brady instead of Ben.But that's another thread.
:pickle: Ben is a hair above average and a hair above a game manager. Testaverde could have won with Pittsburgh last year. Pittsburgh won not because of Ben but because they kept points off the board. Blinded by homerade.

:pickle: Brady is a big time fat cat now
What did he statement even mean??? Like Brady used to stand behind an invincible wall for minutes just cherry picking wide open receivers  What the hell was he trying to say
Brady lost the eye of the tiger . I blame Giselle or however you spell ithe's a big time society boy now

Firing up the shtickmobile a little early, no?

Fantasy football has ruined people's ability to recognize a great NFL QB.

Now you're just being ridiculous. Big Ben is easily a top 5 QB.

I like Gruden so far, but how can he say that Brady has, except for the INT, been on the money with his throws all night? He has been very shaky at times, missing open guys. :pickle:

Forget it, Cross. It's all shtick.

I was never the biggest Josh McDaniels fan but whoever is calling the Pats offense tonight SUCKS. That run to Faulk was a TERRIBLE call. Bills are playing well. Pats look like #### (at least partially because the Bills are playing well).

Pats are dominating all the stats except score and turnovers. In particular the TOP is telling. 2nd half could be brutal for the Bills if their offense can't find a way to stay on the field.

Buffalo has looked a lot better than I expected. (I feared a 2007esque blowout).

However, I'm not optimistic. Buffalo is 0-3 on 3rd, NE is 6-10. Buffalo has 111 yards, NE has 217.

And Belichick has halftime to make his adjustments.

NE definition of RBBC.

In the first 4 plays, All 4 RBs were on the field. Taylor and Morris on first & Second, Faulk on Third, and Maroney & Morris on Fourth.

Second series seems to be Maroney in on single back sets, and lining up wide a couple times. And now a couple plays with Fred Taylor, then Faulk again on third down.

Third series first and second down Taylor, third down faulk.

Fourth Series, Taylor nice run on first called back on penalty. first down in motion out wide, second down run no gain. Third down faulk.

1st down faulk, out in a pattern. 2nd down taylor, no gain. 3rd down faulk again, nice catch & run. 1st down taylor short gain,

2nd down taylor 6 yards. 3rd faulk runs for first down.

*in the red zone now: 1st down faulk. 2nd down .. maybe no one, couldn't tell ?

*Goal line: Taylor TD.

Fifth series Sammy Morris on 1st down. Series ended on interception.

Sixth series, 3:00 minutes left in half. 1st down Maroney in (kind of wiffed on a block). 1st down Maroney 7 yard run.

*two minute warning. 2nd down faulk, 3rd down faulk. 1st down faulk.

*redzone(1:14 left) 1st down faulk, 2nd down(from the 3) faulk. 3rd down(from 3) faulk short gain. ends in FG attempt

So far it looks like Sammy Morris is playing the FB role, Faulk obviously the third down back & passing situations.

Taylor and Maroney split, with Taylor getting the bigger share.

broken down by series, Taylor(3) Maroney(1) faulk(1). By Carries, Taylor(9) maroney(5) faulk(3). By yards Taylor(25), Maroney(36,2), faulk(7,22)

Overreact much folks? This team is destined for greatness just as it's always been. About to Fire up the 2009 NE Patriots - Drive for the Lombardi Cup
