Pats @ Steelers (1 Viewer)

I love Tony Romo telling Tom Brady he needs to stay calm here. Biggest choker in history offering tips to guy with 5 rings

What? Wide open? Who could have saw that coming? Not everyone at FBG’s who is swilling beer and talking about colonoscopies.

Every freaking week the defense gives up a score with under a minute

Ancillary sweat there too. My Buddy and FBG Staffer Steve Buzzard won $492,000 in the FanDuel WWFC Final. https://www.fanduel.com/games/30949/contests/30949-223552149/entries/1629181198/scoring?entry=1629181277

He was 1 point ahead of the guy in 2nd place with $192,000 prize and that guy had Brady. A Brady TD at the end would have been a $300,000 swing.
I think what I would be telling myself over and over as I’m watching in helpless agony is “Hey -$192,000 aint bad”

Arm looked fine on that rifle shot to Edelman on the last drive
There is a difference between wide open and squeezing between two or three defenders. That part of Brady’s game is almost gone and it was clear when it became a short field. He needs seperation from his WR’s.

Beating this Pats team seems a bit hollow.  First, the Pats dynasty has to come to an end at some point and this feels more like the end that most years - they are 3-5 on the road this year.  If the Steelers weren't coming of a 3 game losing streak, this might mean something... the Steelers fell from the #2 seed to having to beat the Pats to avoid falling to the 8th, 9th, 10th seed or whatever.  I'm always an optimistic Steeler fan, but realistically the best it seems they can do is 9-6-1 (lose to NO and beat Cincy at home) and an early exit from the playoffs.

Hopefully, whatever happens, they can help the defense somehow for next year.

Impressive!  The Ryan, Julio, Ridley combo won him nearly $1.5M this year!

It was a big and unexpected win.  I don't think there is a Steelers fan on the planet who expected the defense to make that stop.  They're going to need some help.  They need the Chargers to beat the Ravens next week and then they should be in (even if they lose to New Orleans).  But probably a first round exit as they'll face the Chiefs or Chargers.

I don't know. Feels like a big win. NE is solid and they had plenty to play for. Sure, PIT won't be a favorite in the playoffs but they're a team with a shot if things fall right. That's about the best one can hope for.
