I don't want to get you anti-Brady people in an uproar here (mostly because I need him to come up big this weekend) but here in Northeastern Pennsylvania, the weathermen are throwing around the word "Nor'Easter" every now and then which would mean absolutely atrocious conditions for not only the Patriots game but any other game taking place in the northeast.

Every single computer model shows a huge storm on Sunday up in Boston - It is uncertain if it will be rain or snow but it will be heavy precipitation. Too bad so sad for Brady owners.

Yeah, NOAA out of State College PA, who are generally the last to publish bad weather until it's a done deal, are now talking about it. If the storm tracks through us here in central PA, NE is surely going to get blasted. So any games in the northeast on Sunday are going to be in bad shape methinks. It's looking more and more like the cold air will be in place to keep it mostly a snow event north of the Mason-Dixon line.

Saturday night and Sunday, models are hinting (basically flat out telling us) that the weather set up is ideal for a major nor'easter. As of now, I think it'll be an all snow event that has the potential of dumping nearly a foot of snow! The big question mark is if warmer air gets pulled, how much will that knock down snow totals? The storm is still more than 4 days away and the track will determine everything. All eyes are on it (that's 6 between Pete, JR, and me) so we'll watch it for you...

From my company e-mail box on this weekend's weather (I work for an electric utility):

Low pressure is forecast track from the Tennessee Valley, early Saturday morning, to southeastern Delaware by early Sunday morning. Based on this track, there will be a large swath of heavy snow up the Appalachians into the Northeast, with the risk for some ice and gusty winds.

Depending on the exact track of the storm, snow or a mixture of snow, sleet and rain will be likely. It is too early to determine amounts, however the mix with sleet would favor Zones 6 and 7 (central Maryland) and the heaviest snowfall would favor Zones 5 and 8 (NW and Central PA) where nearly a foot of snow is possible. Well, I seem to remember a playoff game a few years ago in Foxboro that slowed down a passing game. But I think it would take extrodinary circumstances for the weather to slow down the Pats passing game. It could snow all night on Saturday, and the field could be fine. Only really heavy snow before and during the game would be a big deal, as in the case of the Raiders/Pats game.

I own Brady and Moss -- went 13-0 in a money league . Even if the weather is bad and it looks like it - anyone who benchs these two for the bigest game of the FF season is foolish. Brady is maybe the best bad weather QB in football and Moss for all the negativity he got for taking plays off plays well in elements as well. Unless it's a litteraly Hurricane force winds Play em both and don't lose any sleep.

Playing a Welker/Moss owner so I'd love to see them flop - but if I had one or both, I would start them. Brady can still do well even in a storm and frankly, I'm not sure they havea run game to use otherwise.Which should work well for them as the Jets seem to have no run D.

Watched the local news real quick this morning, they said the storm will be coming saturday night into sunday. They're not sure if it will be snow, sleet or rain or a mix. BUT they did say that it could/should be out right around the time of the start of the pats/jets game. Right now a mix of snow/rain is predicted for foxboro, but it could change to all rain. Most importantly though, the storm might be gone by the time the pats/jets kickoff.
