Bang on.

My initial thought was that it's unfair to the guy who played great all year and some dude could win one tournament - that being the Tour Championship - and hit the jackpot.  Now, I kind of liken it to a 16 seed who barely plays .500 thru the year and gets how come playoff time.  So, I'm good with it (as long as Reed doesn't win!)

Some of this nonsense is probably driven by the fact that Rose won last year while winning none of the playoff events, and was completely overshadowed by Tiger.

The tour got what they surely wanted with half the field gaining strokes on JT. 3 way tie for first with 3 rounds left to play.

Yeah, they say for sure 4 hurt but 10 got some degree of the strike.  Some (now saying 6 people) being treated for serious injuries, but none life threatening.
