Don’t wanna overreact Week 1, but I’m tempering my expectations for this season for the Eagles. NE D played really well, got a lot of pressure on Hurts. Their Oline looked stout for playing 2 rookies, too.

i wouldn't put a ton on it, considering everyone seemed kind of off. OL not it's best, WRs seemed a little off, etc.

Superbowl losers were 23-31 ATS and 28-26 SU. More recently, SB losers were 4-19 ATS and 9-14 SU.
On the radio this morning, they put out a stat that Belichick is 100 something and like 35 when facing a QB for the first time. It was a really unbelievable lopsided number.
The fact that the Eagles not only won, but covered the spread was against these trends were a good sign.

yeah not sure about his statement there. Was an easy call to miss live I think, and they corrected it in replay

I thought the officiating overall was fine. Was there a controversial call? I get this is modogg’s shtick but still odd (especially after a win).

yeah, wrote that before the replay. Just seemed like a lot of holding wasn't being called on the OL, but that is the game. wasn't a big deal. might be run over from Romo suggesting that the DL rushing on the 4th down getting pulled to the ground wasn't a hold too

The ignore feature is your friend, people.
Officials were merely average I thought. No egregious misses other then the single (corrected) call at the end, and no egregiously bad calls. (Even that wasn't truly an egregious miss, just potentially impactful...tough to see in rreal time) Eagles benefited from a ticky tack hold that probably shouldn't have been called, but had a similar one go against them too. I did think they were a bit leniant on potential holding calls in the middle, but consistant with them
