RIPFreaking terrible. The guy was an amazing actor. Sucks.
He destroyed this scene. Just so awkward.man, this sucks.
he was one of the best at his craft and always interesting to watch in any role he played.
Cause you think he'd just post that for fun? It isn't real without a link?Linkie?
Ah yes, the old "you have an obsession/must be a stalker" deflection defense. It was at the top of the search. I dont care enough about a celebrity threat to scrutinizeSo a story from last month, that was updated today, is your source?Go ithttp://en.mediamass.net/people/philip-seymour-hoffman/deathhoax.htmlLink to the conflicting reports. Lets scrutinize your obsession with me instead
Yeah he was outstanding in that. His tirade against Roger Sterling where he breaks the window is stellar.Just watched Charlie Wilson's War last week. Loved him in that.
I'm having a hard time thinking of a movie where he wasn't outstanding.Yeah he was outstanding in that. His tirade against Roger Sterling where he breaks the window is stellar.Just watched Charlie Wilson's War last week. Loved him in that.
He checked in to rehab for snorting heroin a few years ago. He was known as a pretty hard partier.Geez, wasn't aware of his issues.
He would have had a big part in the 3rd Hunger Games movie.

Lester Bangs in Almost Famous is another.Sad.
I haven't seen a ton of films where he was the lead actor, but I remember him in great supporting roles in The Big Lebowski, Twister, Scent of a Woman, and Boogie Nights.
R.I.P.
No, not really. No one really gives a #### about you here. And now we can make the hoffman thread abput me
The obsession is pathological
The only true currency in this bankrupt world is what we share with someone else when we're uncool.Lester Bangs in Almost Famous is another.Sad.

Heath Ledger lived in Boerum Hill (Brooklyn) for years before moving to a Broome Street loft in Soho.Same building Ledger stayed at?
I think this is what brought me around to appreciate his work. He was so good that I actually made it a reflection on him. I'm starting to come around on Kevin Spacey for the same reason.I think I have hated every character that he has ever played, which speaks to his acting ability. Ever since I saw him for the first time in Scent of a Woman, his characters have always gotten under my skin.
I can't think of another actor past or present that I felt that passionate about. That, to me personally, speaks volumes about his acting ability.
RIP.
