Check this out, from weeks 2-11, this has to be the easiest travel schedule an NFL team has ever had:
Sept. 17 Washington 8:30 p.m.
Sept. 23 Detroit 1 p.m.
Sept. 30 at N.Y. Giants 8:15 p.m.
Oct. 7 BYE
Oct. 14 at N.Y. Jets 1 p.m.
Oct. 21 Chicago 4:15 p.m.
Oct. 28 at Minnesota 1 p.m.
Nov. 4 Dallas 8:15 p.m.
Nov. 11 at Washington 1 p.m.
Nov. 18 Miami 1 p.m.
Starting in week 2, the Eagles will have 5 home games, 2 games at the Meadowlands, 1 at Washington, all of these easy bus trips, and only one actual road trip game, at Minnesota. I've seen stories in the past about how grueling Seattle's schedule can be with all the flying they do, but what would they say when they see a schedule like THIS? I'd have to think this REALLY helps the Eagles this season, as there couldn't be a more perfect travel situation during the grueling heart of the season.
