I have a D90 as well with a Nikkor 18-200 VR and the nifty fifty 1.8What lens do you use for your HDR workETA: What program do you use as well
I have 3 lenses and I use them all for HDR, I adjust depending on the scene .. I have 3 lenses:1) Sigma 10-20mm for landscapes, scenery, buildings2) Nikkor 18-105mm VR for all purpose walk around snapshotting3) Nikkor 70-300mm VR animals, closeups, etc. anything that needs zooming and a blurred backgroundI also have 2 SB-600 flashes and an SB-900 I usually take 1 photo of the scene, and turn that into an HDR, but lately I get better HDR's if I lug around the tripod and get 3-5 exposures..I use photomatix and photoshop for turning my RAW images into HDR .. photomatix is by far the best, and I've tried them all.. the big secret for me to get great hdr's is a photoshop plugin called "imagenomic noiseware professional", this takes all my noise out and really pops the final image.. I also like "nik color efex pro" , another photoshop plugin that has all kinds of cool post processing features..
