I hate when businesses call employees "associates"

Stop patronizing them with that crap
How about "team members"?
Even more patronizing
Is it less patronizing if they're actually associates?
They are employees. Any other name is corporate BS to make the workers think they care at all about them. They dont

Associate is a meaningless word. You and I could be considered associates because we use the same message board. In that way we are associated with one another, but does it mean anything? No it doesnt

you realize their is an actual position in the real world called "associate", right?

"You only think/believe that because....."

no

#### you for trying to tell me what I'm thinking

ex " You only think that a bad call because you're a (insert team name) fan"

there are few lines of discussion as obnoxious and insulting as this one....

SMH needs another mention.

I feel like reaching through a computer screen and strangling someone anytime I see it.

has 'bae' been mentioned yet?

bae.
As in Baebae's Kids? Or what?
bae caught me slippin
Seconded. Everytime I see this, I automatically deduct 15 IQ points from whoever used it in that context. Many people don't have that much IQ to spare.
where are you guys seeing this?this thread is the only place for me
I still can't figure out WTF it even means.

Ok. Now that I know, "bae caught me slippin" makes no ####### sense to me. So it's no wonder I couldn't figure it out.

It means his girlfriend/hookup found evidence of him cheating. Like in True Detective when Marty's wife found pix of Tittys McBlueEyes on his phone. Bae caught him slippin.

It's that time of year. TV and radio shows previewing the upcoming NFL season. I love the hard-hitting analysis about Player X:

"He's not getting any younger."

WHO IS???

Both of these need to be retired:

If _________ happened, twitter would break.

__________ blew up twitter last night.
