Pickup D.J. Williams in case Seattle beats SF (1 Viewer)

Finley may not play much should Seattle beat SF, thus making Green Bay's match up Sunday night with Chicago meaningless. Williams could be an emergency plug in to prevent a goose egg at the TE position. I know Crabtree is listed as the backup, but I believe he's more of a blocking TE.

Not sure how anyone could trust DJ.

You have Crabtree and Taylor in there and I doubt McCarthy lets Finley sit given the drops lately. The guy needs all the work he can get.

You never know. I really believe Williams is a better addition over their other TEs. All I know is that if McCarthy benches Finley due to the insignificance of the game, I sure as hell don't want to be left with egg on my face Sunday night.

even of sf loses theres no way gb starters rest the whole game. they will play at least the first half.
Exactly. I'm very sure they play the whole game. Why do people think after a loss GB will rest their guys for 3 weeks and go into the playoffs totally rusty? It's proven to be a very bad formula to win a superbowl. They want to kill the Bears slim playoff chances as well.

I also think they play, even if Seattle wins, but isn't it better to be safe than sorry? You have to make sure you have at least one other option.
