Pierre Thomas is become a interesting fantasy candidate currently; some teams are releasing him but he has the looks of a great buy low/lottery ticket. While his season stats aren't going to blow anyones socks off he is putting up solid, although pedestrian numbers; low to mid RB #3 range. As Ingram still continues to struggle, will P.T. become a decent value? While P.T. is only averaging a little over 6 carries a game he is averaging a whopping 5+ YPC and he is getting 4 targets a game good for 25+ yards. Sproles is the points leader but he is in the Bush role and there was plenty of room for Thomas and Bush on NOR. You can't keep a good man down right; it's just a matter of time before P.T. gets a legitimate shot at a full days worth of carries, right? As for me I am releasing him in a 10 team dynasty league but considering adding him in a 12 team redraft league.

There has been many other "cast offs for the rookie" rbs. There is alot of mouths to feed, but we (believers) may need some patience (grasshopper). Its hard to start him now but I just have a hunch his time is coming and it may be huge.

I am liking what I am hearing. I am also honored to get a reply from a member who has been here since 2003 and only has 483; the quiet, observing, type who only speaks when something important has to be said - I am all ears.

Totally holding on. In a pinch, I know i'll get 8-10 pts out of him. And if his wordload increases for any reason, jackpot!

I think Thomas is a good bye week/emergency starter, who's got a reasonable floor of 50 yds and 2 catches, but will likely have a couple games where he gets hot and goes for a hundred with one or two scores. I don't see him getting regular carries this year, unless two out of sproles, ingram and ivory go down.
