SO FAR YOU ALL HAVE BROUGHT NO STATISTICAL ANALYSIS OR COLD HARD FACTS THAT SHOW WHY KJ SHOULD IN ANY WAY BE CONSIDERED A BETTER PRO FOOTBALL PLAYER THAN PINNER. Until you do so, I'm right.
I guess your league doesn't give points for touchdowns like nearly every other league out there?
Then by your standards, players like Jerome Bettis, Quentin Griffin, Eddie George and Derrick Blaylock are superior running backs to both of them. And I have trouble believing that even you believe that.
Perhaps superior FANTASY backs.
Please make up your mind about whether you're talking about real football or fantasy football. Stop pulling a Kerry.
Either one I think Pinner is better, but all I really care about is fantasy, so lets focus on that. Personally, I couldn't care less who ends up being the better pro because I'm not a fan of the Lions or of either player. Howver, I do care a lot who becomes the better FANTASY RB becauase I play in many fantasy leagues.

Insulting someone online makes you look less intelligent. Insulting someone in the middle of an argument makes it look like you realize you are losing the argument and are resulting to personal attacks. I'm not saying this to cause trouble...just letting you know. Anyway, I will totally refrain from the personal attacks, so it'd be nice if you would as well. Thank you and the best of luck to you in your fantasy leagues.
Actually, calling them how I see them does not reduce my intelligence in any way. If it walks like a duck.....You my friend are a duck. Myself and the other posters who have argued with you for 11 pages agree that you are a moronic duck on a 11 plus page fishing trip. A fishing trip that I got sucked into. Well, I think I will back away from this thread for a while only to bump this thread at the beginning of the week each week and point out what schmuck you are. That .1 is going to evaporate really fast. And just to back up my stance I will start KJ this week. Albeit it's against one of the worst D's in the league. I think Dallas has the 3rd worst rush D in the league and has given up the third most points per game as well, but it should help kill your argument....Talk to you next week....

Then the answer is simple. The starter is the better fantasy back. That's Fantasy Football 101. And who's the starter? Kevin Jones. Case dismissed.

Trust me, Pinner is the real deal.
I still believe it.A little update for everyone:KJ got all of the work today. Pinner didn't get one single carry or reception. KJ put up a whopping 40 yards and a TD or something like that. Consider me unimpressed. All in all, NEITHER RB HAS PROVEN TO BE ANY BETTER THAN THE OTHER, which is why I think its foolish to hand the job to KJ and why I think it was foolish for everyone to laugh at me when I suggested that Pinner might just be the better RB in the preaseason.

Uh, Detroit only ran the ball 13 times. 11 of which were by KJ. Dallas had nearly the Lions nearly 2-1 in time of possession. Your guy is so impressive that he doesn't even get a carry, yet you are unimpressed with KJ? Then how impressed are you with Pinner's performance on sunday?See you again next week.....

Gosh, you're difficult to reason with.Yes, I was unimpressed by KJ's performance. Am I supposed to be impressed by 40 yards? I don't understand what you expect me to say here. Do you honestly expect me to be all like, "Wow, he sure did look great getting those 40 yards. I bet he goes for 200 yards next week!"Pinner didn't play. I don't know how else I can state that. I was neither impressed nor unimpressed with him.

By your same crazy logic....KJ was so unimpressive that he only got 11 carries!See how foolish it is to judge how good someone is by how much work the coaching staff gives them. Just because a coaching staff doesn't use a player a lot doesn't mean they aren't good. My opinion was basically totally unchanged based on today's game, as neither of them did anything really.

Well, KJ has definitely proved that he is the better fantasy back as he got carries, scored a touchdown and Pinner just sat on the bench. And that's what your whole point to this thread was right? That Pinner was the better fantasy back? Hard to be the better fantasy back if you're not getting carries.

So you were just neutral on a guy that didn't play? Not impressed? Not unimpressed? Not encouraged? Not discouraged? Wow. What a blind follower you are. You don't have any negative feelings for a guy that didn't play. If he was starting on my FFB team I would feel pretty unimpressed by a guy that puts up a big goose egg, how about you? And the guy that gets close to 90% of the running plays and accounts for almost half of the offensive production on the score board doesn't impress you in the slightest? Of course not. You want to focus on the 40 yards. You want to focus on the 11 carries. You don't want to focus on the positives. Hell, you look at a guy that doesn't play and are just neutral on that performance. I would like to direct everyone to my sig because it just keeps getting funnier and funnier!!! :D

the Lions had the ball for 21 minutes out of 60. They got housed by ball control. Let's consider if the Lions had 30 minutes of possession we could argue that KJ would've had in the vicinity of 16-17 carries, but it's hard to run the ball when you are behind and don't have much time to make up ground. But I guess that's an alien concept to the world you live in. BTW, what color is the sky in your world? :excited:
