RB Pinner Vaults Out Of Doghouse
Tom Powers, St. Paul Pioneer Press - [Full Article]
The past three weeks, Artose Pinner has been so deep in the coach's doghouse that he hasn't even been in his Vikings uniform on Sundays. But Sunday against the Lions, the door to the doghouse opened a crack, and Pinner came flying out of banishment. Filling in for injured RB Chester Taylor, Pinner ran for three touchdowns and 125 yards. The plan going in was to use a committee but the plan changed after the first Vikings drive. Pinner was running hard, so Childress kept going to him. "Go with the guy who's got the hot hand," HC Brad Childress said. Pinner said he had no clue he was going to get so many chances.
