I apologize if for some reason there is an ongoing post about this guy, and if so please move my thread to that post. With that being said what do you guys think about him going forward? He was doing so well in the beginnning but the ankle is definitely hurting his production he just doesnt have the explosiveness, I was wondering if any Giant homers could comment on how has looked on the field, and if he is a viable WR1 or does a guy like Roddy White or Sydney Rice or Gage have more upside...

Good luck this weekend

hed him for Rice last week, and that got me in the playoffs. So Plax stays on the bench. Eli looks lost, Plax is suffering from injuries and Eli.

Rice has looked very good the last few weeks. I'm benching Burress & Bowe for him this week in both a PPR league and a non-ppr league. I think he is clearly the big play threat for the Vikings in the passing game. He is more consistent than Burress right now.

Roddy White has just been exploding lately. I believe that he sits around 7th in yardage for receivers this year, and has a touchdown in his last two games. He plays against NO on Monday Night, and should have a good game.

Plax is clearly not himself. He'll still get a good share of targets as #1, but he just cant do as much with them now. The Giants might be forced to pass a lot if Jacobs can't go, so he could have a nice statistical game like he did when they were down to Minnesota, but I would definitely not play him over White, and Rice and Gage are at least coinflips.

Anybody see any reason why you'd start Plax during your fantasy playoffs unless you were desperate?

I'm in a salary-cap dynasty league with start 2 WR and 1 WR/TE and am fortunate to have good depth (Holt, Welker, Marshall, Holmes, Plax, Gates, Gonzo). I am thinking of cutting Plaxico because I don't think I would ever start him during the fantasy playoffs this year. Even if Holmes is hurt and someone else gets hurt, I think Plax is the last guy on the list that I would start. I'd start Gonzo over Plax.

By cutting him now, I save cap space that I can use to grab a sport starter at K or D or to grab another player off the wire to either help me or keep them away from my opponent. It would be very expensive for me to keep him on my roster next season, so no keeper value.

Am I nuts?

i've had him all year, too good early, which created a false loyalty, as now he kills me every week. i'm seriously thinking of benching in favor of jenkins on monday night just because the falcons throw to everybody and the saints let them
