The cut lines for the upcoming week in the past 5 years were:

2017: 60

2016: 132

2015: 65

2014: 83

2013: 102

This year might be a little different as all the top seeded teams with a first week bye made the championship games. I would think that would lower the cut line this year.

Hope so. Can't imagine too many teams with more than 4 scorers this week.

The top teams this week are littered with guys that have 6-8.  Beyond that...

team 100: 6

team 200: 6

team 300: 6

team 400: 8

team 500: 4

team 600: 4

team 700: 7

team 800: 6

team 900: 6

team 1000: 6

team 1100: 4

team 1200: 5

team 1300: 4

team 1400: 4

team 1500: 5

team 1600: 6

team 1700: 5

team 1800: 4

team 1900: 4

team 2000: 0

team 2001: 6

team 2002: 3

I suspect a majority of teams will have 6 plus scorers.

I went too hard and got eliminated in the first week. Had the Pats and Saints as my teams to cover. Should have diversified more.

There are always an abundance of teams that have two players on so many teams that in weeks two and also three, there are teams with 8 players counting and that pushes the cut lines so high, that you have to diversify more than you even think you should.

While I don't stand a chance to win this thing, I am laughing at myself .....  the only player in the early game is NOS WR Kirkwood = ZERO!    Cut is just under 30 so far.

Unless my KC & NEP players get me past the cut today, it was fun!

KC = Mahone, Dam Williams & Kelce

NEP = Rex & Patterson (yeah, I know.... little chance from them helping)

So the only "live' ghost entry I have is the one that I furiously tried to get in under the wire but failed to do so:  It was a Rams/Pats entry.

Right now that entry is at 35.35 and above what the cut would be after game one.

Only would get the 2 best scoring Pats and nobody from Kansas City but man it looks like it is more likely than not to make the cut.  Will be painful if the Pats win.

Here's the 14(!) guys I would have in the Super Bowl if I had been able to click boxes faster.

Rams:  Gurley, Goff, Reynolds, Everett, Higbee

Patriots:  Brady, Gronk, Michel, Hogan, Burkhead, Patterson, Develin, Dorsett, Patriots Def.

If Gurley is healthy enough for the Super Bowl man I could really be kicking myself.

Here's to your fantasy fantasy team  🍻

It's got about a good of chance as my Saints KC entry

I have been dancing over by 1 and under by 1.5 over last 10 min!!

2:03 left with Rex & Patterson still trying to contribute and currently over by 2.2

cut at 68.45

Well. I made the cut. Only have 4 guys going from the Pats. I'd imagine someone else has the same group with others though.

Brady, Michel, White, Edelmen

It was an interesting contest though. I'm glad I made it to the super bowl on the first try. A lot of luck to win this thing though.

Basically Ditto.  5 Pats Brady, White, Hogan, Dorsett, Patterson and one Ram Reynolds.  I was banking on Pats/Saints.

Made the cut but I'm dead with just one sorry option left. Both games went against me, was banking on Chiefs vs Saints SB and had 6 premier players from those two teams.

:X

Gonna be sick - adding up all of my Rams and Patriots I get a total of 174.65.

Really hope CJ Anderson, Cooks, and Woods go off in the Super Bowl.  $1000 down the drain cuz too slow.

Anyway good luck to those who made it and actually have a shot!

Good news is I made the cut.

Bad news is I was all in on KC and NO. Had Williams, Ware, Conley, Robinson and Kelce from the Chiefs. Brees, Kamara, Thomas and Hill from the Saints.

Good news for the rest of you is I had no Rams or Patriots so that's one less team you have to worry about

Good luck to all

This contest is awesome.  So many bad entires in the final 1000.  Mind boggling that after all these years people still haven't figured it out.  Almost makes sense to by a dozen subscriptions.

I threw this page together as a pseudo query tool:  http://calcomatic.com/PlayoffBreakdown

It shows the 344 teams with at least 5 players available in the Super Bowl.  I know many of these teams can't win the contest but the tool would be pretty boring if it only had 10 entries

Enjoy!
Thanks.

It does contain teams that have been eliminated if you have a tool to clean that up.

Here's a 13 player team.  Next best is 10. http://subscribers.footballguys.com/playoffcontest/2018/101132.php

THANKS Steeler!  Nice tool!

344?  And only Top 12 get compensation!!  But this team has 13 players!  WOW!  Impressive!  I imagine this is how we all should have / could have / would have created our roster!

Team: 101132 (7 NEP & 6 LAR)

Tom Brady; Sony Michel;Rex Burkhead; Chris Hogan; Jacob Hollister; Stephen Gostkowski; New England Patriots

Jared Goff; C.J. Anderson; Brandin Cooks; Gerald Everett; Greg Zuerlein; Los Angeles Rams

ETA: cleaned up non-active entry

Second team was eliminated last week.

Thanks BnB - good catch.  I just "finalized" week 20 so it's been cleaned up.

Now there are only 209 teams with 5 or more players left.

My team scored 10 points more than the cutoff this week. Unfortunately I was eliminated in the wild card round, and I scored below the cutoff again in the divisional round, and my roster only has 2 players who are in the Super Bowl.

Rule 1 for next year.

Only go with teams I really think can win the damn thing.

(Rule 2- fill out a last minute change faster)

I could cry - I would have had this on just about mortal lock.

My team vs the 13-player team woulda been (after elminated guys we both have):

Me:  Gronk, Patterson, Develin, Dorsett, Gurley, Reynolds, Higbee

Other entry: Hollister, Gostkowski, CJ Anderson, Cooks, Zuerlein, Rams

The 10-player teams would not have been close.

One I had Goff, Gurley, Higbee, Reynolds Develin, Dorsett   vs White and Gostkowski.

The other I have Goff, Gurley, Higbee, Reynolds, Everett, Gronk  vs  White and Hollister

Brady, White, Edelman

Goff, Gurley, Cooks, Woods

Sneaked by the cut by 3 points in Week 2 and 3.  I wish I had Michele, but then I probably wouldn't have made the cuts without substantial changes elsewhere.

Do I have a chance?

I’ve got Brady, Michel, Burkhead, Edelman, Hogan, Patterson and Dorsett.

Unfortunately for me, I went all in on the Saints being the NFC representative.

7 Pats for me, could be a respectable finish but nothing to jump up and down about.

Bumped for relevance.

Still alive. But not competitive with only:

Burkhead

Goff, Gurley, Cooks

Good luck to those with the loaded rosters
