Playoffs Thread - Atlanta V New York Giants (1 Viewer)

It's actually surprising Osi didn't get flagged for that tap on Ryan's head during the sack.

Good to see that not getting a flag.

I love the analysis of this game by the guys in the studio. I'm telling you guys, when I can figure out a team's offense, you're in trouble. Atlanta has trouble from the top on down. They won two games against winning teams, and their wins are really unimpressive. Of the two teams I probably watched the most this year, I'd take Seattle over them in a re-match, on the road, even money. I think Seattle would beat them by two touchdowns.

I'm sure this has already been asked, but why the hell hasn't Atlanta thrown the ball down the field any? Isn't that why they went out and got Julio?
Yeah, they took too long to start throwing, and when they had to, it was easy for the Giants pass rush to get to Ryan. Down 17-2, Turner got stuffed on that 3rd and short, and that was the ballgame.

My guess is folks will say Ryan didn't have enough time, but I agree. You're getting your butts handed to you, drop 7 steps and throw the ball as long and far as Julio's legs will carry him. What can happen, and INT? Who cares, at least it gives you a chance.
