Points ONLY league- strategy help (1 Viewer)

Hello guys, I'm in a points only league this year which is a big change from std 50/50 FF.

On top of that 14 person league. I set up the Draft Dominator for the scoring rules and it really moves players around. Obviously the DD is an awesome tool, and I think it is showing me strategies before I draft, like kickers are way more important.

What are some of your strategies in 100%/0 leagues?

We have 14 owner league with 18 rounds, and we play a lot of guys each week.

Thanks, great site BTW

Matt

In that league, I would make sure to have a top QB, strong RBs, and a top kicker. QBs, in a 14 teamer, should do very well.
Thanks Jeff,I'll get my draft spot SundayOn my rankings I have overall something like this:#1 Randy Moss#2 MGD#3 Tom Brady#4 Peterson #5 Tomlinson#6 FitzThe Draft Dominator sets it up pretty similar

I'm in a similar situation. A new league for me so I have no experience with this kind of scoring. We do get bonus points for yardage but not significant until you hit 90 yards receiving or 90 yards rushing and 250 yards passing ... In analyzing the weekly scoring, I find little consistency. The only consistent position was QB last year. The ideal draft would be to hold a stud RB like LTII's early years, TD in his prime or Alexander's prime years. Turner might be that guy this year. MJD could. And of ADP even though Chester Taylor spells him a lot. Forte, nay - I'm buying the coachspeak about giving him a break cause K. Jones has talent if healthy.

Given the state of the keepers in my league. I'll probably try to get a consistent QB drafting way earlier than the ADP. Get a top notch TE - Gates is my target hoping he scores like two years ago. Then load up on big play guys at WR. and goal line backs (Lendale, Duckett, ...) at RB mainly because of the keeper situation.
