I caught a Ghostly and a Tentelcoil"Pokemans"
i call them that just to bug my sons. In fact, I try to mispronounce every single pokemans because they hate it.
Warturtle, Zubazz, Goldbats, Digit, Cub-One etc
I'm in the same boat. All of my eggs are 5k right now. I much prefer 2k or obviously 10k. With 2k you can hatch them fast and you have the possibility of getting a starter. 5k eggs take a while to hatch and they tend to be pokemon I see in the wild fairly often. Are the overwhelming majority of your eggs 5k? I rarely get anything else. Once in a while I'll get a 2k, and I've only gotten three 10ks since I started playing. Pretty annoying.

I'd take em. Only ones I've gotten have been from out of town.Back to back oddishes <_<
https://thinkgaming.com/app-sales-data/I don't think I've ever seen a game start out with so much promise and fail so quickly. Ninantic has cost themselves millions with their incompetence.
The majority of Pokemon come from 5k eggs, so you should get more of them than 2k and 10k.Are the overwhelming majority of your eggs 5k? I rarely get anything else. Once in a while I'll get a 2k, and I've only gotten three 10ks since I started playing. Pretty annoying.
Only have had 2 10km eggs so far, Have 8 2km right now and 1 5km. Wish I could drop eggs. Are the overwhelming majority of your eggs 5k? I rarely get anything else. Once in a while I'll get a 2k, and I've only gotten three 10ks since I started playing. Pretty annoying.

The 5k eggs can be really valuable for the candy they provide (sometimes even 20). Often just three hatchlings will yield enough candy, to evolve one of them to the next form.I'm in the same boat. Still haven't seen one
For DC, MD, and VA residents, there's what appears to be a Pikachu nest near the pokestop on the C&O Canal tow path, behind the Four Seasons hotel, in Georgetown. Caught a 10CP on Monday and two more since. Just leveled at 20 and sitting on a 468 and a467. The next two eggs hatched after the first find were Pikachus. So, 5 Pikachus in 3 days. But I finally got a pikachu today. 10cp![]()
Hah. I was actually there a few weeks ago before a nice dinner at BourbonSteak. Didn't find any Pikachu though. For DC, MD, and VA residents, there's what appears to be a Pikachu nest near the pokestop on the C&O Canal tow path, behind the Four Seasons hotel, in Georgetown. I was wondering about that. Do all 5k eggs give the same amount of candy? Or does it vary? The 5k eggs can be really valuable for the candy they provide (sometimes even 20). Often just three hatchlings will yield enough candy, to evolve one of them to the next form.
It varies. I think I've gotten as few as 6 and as many as 21. I would say average is around 15 though.I was wondering about that. Do all 5k eggs give the same amount of candy? Or does it vary?
If it makes you feel any better I'm almost at level 21 and got my first 10K egg yesterday. And I've hatched 24 eggs so it's not like I'm not using them...Are the overwhelming majority of your eggs 5k? I rarely get anything else. My usual walk is 2.3mi, or 3.8km. I usually get credited about 2.5-3.0km per walk. It's nice out and I figured I'd take my daughter on a bike ride. We went to a park that is 7 miles (11km) away. Left the game open the entire time, to cook a pair of 10km eggs. Unfortunately it registered less than 2km each way. There were a few downhill segments, but I wasn't flying like a bullet or anything, as I was towing her on one of these tandem attachments. For whatever reason, less than 20% of our actual distance counted.
On the bright side, the park we went to is apparently a nest for Pinsirs. I had never encountered one before, yet we stumbled on three of them in the first 10 minutes there.
Halfway through level 20 and still no 10k for me. Earlier in the week all 9 of my eggs were 2k eggs, but I have gone through 8 of them and now have an inventory of 5k eggs.Skoo said:If it makes you feel any better I'm almost at level 21 and got my first 10K egg yesterday. Excellent, will try this out on my way home.Saw this article about how to get additional xp and an egg when hitting pokestops.

You just have to 10 different stops in a half hour to get the bonus. No repeats. Bonus happens on the 10th
This is neat, but if you are able to hit 10 pokestops in 30 minutes, do you really need a 10% bonus? That is, I would imagine you'd already be saturated in eggs and items.Saw this article about how to get additional xp and an egg when hitting pokestops.

The CP max isn't reached until level 30, so if you're trying to get really high CP pokemon you should just keep catching more.Ok, so just hit 20 and have 80,000 stardust. Time to start upgrading, or is it still time to just catch and evolve still

This.Depends on if you're into gym battles. If you are, then sure, power up and get your top 6 pokemon ready to battle.
If you're not into doing the gyms, there's no reason to use (won't say "waste", because you can build up so much) the stardust now. You'll just continue to catch or hatch higher cp pokemon that you'd much rather evolve or power up than whatever you've got now, trust me.
Doesn't iv rating matter most? I had a handful of eevees the other day. I was looking to evolve one of them. I dumped several higher cp eevees and kept the one with the highest iv rating.This.
Just bear in mind that Level 30 comes at 2 million total XP. It's a long time to wait.
I'm halfway through L22 (390k XP) and have 200k stardust. I don't battle much at gyms, so I have no real reason to spend stardust now.
On the other hand, I am less than 1/5 the way to L30. That's 3 more months of sitting on the stuff, by which point I'd have over a million.
I read somewhere that while L30 is the max you encounter in the wild, L20 is actually the max that comes from eggs. I have considered powering up a couple of my 10k egg guys because I can assume the odds I find a higher-CP version of them is ridiculously low.
I would never power up a Vape though because I find higher-CP eevees every day.
For reference, you could spend near the entirety of your 80k stardust just to move one Pokemon from L21 to L31.
Yeah. Just downloaded it, and it's only showing one pokemon in my entire city. No gyms or stops either. There's an new app available for iPhones called Go Radar.
It seems to be very accurate so far. Pokemon listed on the app can be found in the game exactly where the app indicates. It doesn't seem to work perfectly the other way around though. Pokemon that show up in the game or on the nearby list aren't necessarily found in the app.
So far, i find it to be better than Pokevision. It runs smoothly, there are filter options and despawn times.
The gyms and stops feature isn't working for me either.Yeah. Just downloaded it, and it's only showing one pokemon in my entire city. No gyms or stops either.
It's difficult (almost impossible) to play in rural areas. That's a common complaint. I once booted it up at a friend's farm and there was nothing around anywhere. Nothing ever showed on the nearby radar. I generally play in a large city where I'm used to running into something every block or so.So I downloaded this for my daughter and I'm not interested in ever going to a gym and doing any battles. All I'm interested in is walking around with her and catching these little f'ers.
right now we are in up in rural New Hampshire and it seems like there are very few of these guys around. I downloaded Go Radar and it doesn't seem like there are any spawning areas around.
is this a case where we need to live with one of the very common ones showing up every mile or so (we keep getting pidgeys)?
sorry I'm sure there has been some beginners stuff written in the first 51 pages but I'm being lazy
