Pokemon Go (2 Viewers)

Dittos are still available to catch right?  Otherwise I am just wasting a ton of balls on these stupid rats and Pidgeys.

With the deal to hatch the special Pokemons only going two weeks, I actually dropped $4,99 and bought incubators.

I thought just the santa hat pikachu was limited edition but those new pokemon are here to stay.

I'm pretty much done playing until the weather warms up. I can catch common stuff from my home but it's too cold to hit up stops to restock my items. How anyone without easy access to pokestops is able to play at all is a mystery to me. I have a bunch of stops within a few blocks of me but I'm not walking around in sub zero temps to spin them.

This new tracker is going to be the death of me.  Was going to one side of the mall but a Santa Pikachu showed up on the other side so off I went with my daughter.... caught him.

Ride home a church had one.... pulled in the parking lot and off we go on foot to find him.

5 more miles another church had one in the opposite direction that we were going..... u turn and got him.

told her no more but considering we only had one in 5 months and now have 4 it was a big day.   They must have adjusted the ## of wild pikachu.

 
Just got back from a Disney trip.  The only thing I got that I had never even seen before was a Dratini.   There were Magikarp everywhere....which  is new for me.  I think I started the trip with about 70 Candies.  After 7 days I came home with 370.

My wife has had 2 eggs hatch into new ones - Iglypuff and something else. Even though I have hatched a few eggs this week, I haven't had that happen so far.

You need 400 to evolve one of them.

 
 The whole holiday egg hatching offer has really been frustrating I have probably hatched a dozen eggs this past week and I have not received any of the special ones.  I did get a Tentacool that I had not had in my PokeDex though. I have  caught a whole boatload of Santa Pikachu's and I now have a Santa Raichu. 

I do have two 10k  eggs going right now so we'll see what I get out of them.

Yeah, I think only the 10K eggs provide the unique Pokemon.  I hatched an ELEKID from a 10K egg which is Pokemon #239.  Not sure, but this seemed to open the Pokedex to the new Pokemon (although even after today's message, I haven't spotted anything new).  I had been using the incubator I get each day at the first stop on 5K eggs, only hatching stuff I already had.  My daughter said she read that your buddy should spawn more after today too.

 
Some youtubers got the baby pokemon from 5k eggs. :shrug:

The game's been runny kinda choppy for me so I haven't hatched anything in a while.

Are the contents of eggs predetermined? Or can I hatch the new pokemon from eggs I got a month ago?

 
Looks like the new update is spawning a lot of rarer pokemon.

Am at home and just caught a Jiggly Puff, and have Charmader, Squirtle, and Pikachu on my "radar" right now.

 
Caught a 1508 CP Venusaur this morning. About wrecked my car when that thing popped up.

Then I hatched a Magby out of a 10k egg. I have two more 10k eggs that I think I can walk off today.

2nd 10k egg was a Smoochum. What an odd Pokemon. 

Just a little to go on my final 10k

Caught a 1278 CP Charizard this morning.

Had 3 10k eggs in incubators at the same time. 1st hatched a Dratini, waiting on the other 2, hoping at least 1 gives me one of the new Pokemon.

 
My 3rd 10k was another Magby. I did get another 10k egg today so odds are it should be another 2nd gen Pokemon. What I don't understand is if I evolve a Magby, does it just become a gen one Magmar? 

The 5k and 2k eggs have just been producing junk lately. 

Edit:   The other thing I wonder, are they going to expand our bags? My Pokedex goes to 240 now and my bag only holds 250.

Yes, Magby evolves into Magmar. If they get far enough, Magmar's evolution is eventually introduced - Magmortar. I want to say that's 4th gen D/P/Pt

 
So much for getting extra incubators...I have hatched about 15 eggs (2K, 5K and 10K) since the holiday event started and all were the usual junk except for an Iglybuff. How about 1 out 3 are something new????

They really have done a crummy job of keeping this game interesting. 

 
Caught two Venusaurs. a Wartortle and a Seel the last few days. Really wanted to finish most of Gen 1 before Gen 2 drops but still like 12 away. 

 
This is probably my favorite event since the Halloween event with double candy. With the starters and double length lures people seem to be activating the lures more often. These guys are pretty fun to catch. It takes some effort but a well placed curveball will usually get it done. I have a pretty good pile of candies for each of the starters now.

 
No posts in 12 days.  Guess this game is dead.

they must have have recently had a hive migration.  I've never seen a wild Onix.  We have caught two at my daughters school since Friday.

 
Part of the reason I haven't played as much is the cold makes it less desirable walking outside which was when I would play the most.  I assume others are the same way.  I think once we get closer to spring I'll start back playing on my walks.

 
I am still playing I just haven't been catching anything different. I am pretty much just dust hording right now in anticipation of the gen 2 release.

And it is a very good point that the weather really does impact the walking aspect for a lot of us. 

 
Still playing a bit, but it is getting boring.  Cold weather isn't really an issue here.  Can't remember the last time anything mildly exotic popped up on my radar, with the exception of a Charizard. 

Finally had a run of 10k eggs, but nothing good came from those.  Magbys and Pinsirs...

At a high LV26 now and there are still a bunch of pokemon I haven't seen.  Seen 3 Snorlax, 4 Wartortle, 7 Dratini...No dragonair, lapras, etc.

Still play though...its better than sitting at my desk during lunch.  :unsure:

 
I'll play once a week.... maybe.

Any more than that and I get sick of seeing the same stuff over and over. It doesn't shock me that a lot of people who started playing it don't play at all anymore. It appears to be a game designed by people with obsessive personalities for obsessive personalities. Most people just want a game that provides fun for a few minutes here and there. They don't want a game where you have to obsess with it for months before you finally come across something neat. 

 
Doesn't help that every other gym has a 3,000 Dragonite in it in my area and as a lvl 25 I've seen and caught exactly one dratini.

 
Like most fremium games, the long term success comes from how much they can milk out of the hardcore players. The casual players may spend a couple of bucks on the game but eventually die away. 

This one came with the benefit of huge word of mouth buzz so the initial bump was a lot bigger. But in the end, 95% of the players stopped playing.

 
If they hadn't made the gyms so ####ty over the fall, I'd probably still be playing. Just never feel like standing around for so damn long even to build it up 2000xp

They changed gym training back to the way it was though. There was an update that made training up gyms effectively impossible but they received so much backlash it was changed back within a week or so.

I liked it much more when you could only use one person.  

 
sons got me addicted now.....we have our guy up to level 25 and its very hard to keep people in gyms if you are yellow team.

been some changes in the spawners around us lately, these couple of parks are just spitting out Onix and Clefairys right now. Caught an electabuzz in the driveway.

have only hatched 3 of the babys- cleffa, iggly and smoochum
