Pollard SS KC (1 Viewer)

Anybody have updates on him? Last I heard there was some concern over whether he would keep the starting SS spot in KC? I picked him up today thinking he might be my #4 DB if he is starting.

Any other lesser known SSs out there with potential? I've been looking into a few teams and SS seems to be a position that is up in the air on a number of teams right now, or am I wrong?

Strong safeties are tough to find this late. Maybe Charles Godfrey Carolina but he's a FS.

I don't have an update. I watched the KC game last week, but my focus was somewhere else. Pollard is probably safe.

Pollard is safe. THey've also hinted at playing him at LB! The guy is a big hitter and you can't deny his play-making ability...especially on special teams.

Ok, thanks folks. I'll stick with Pollard for now and keep an eye on the situation as it goes along. I would obviously love for him to be the #1 DB in fantasy this year

A couple guys that seem under the radar a bit are Clinton Hart, and Yeremiah Bell, you might also want to keep an eye on the Jets SS position, Abram Elam and Eric Smith are still battling for it.Although they are not as good as Pollard IMO, this is just if Pollard loses his job.

2-3 STL40 (15:00) T.Minor right end to STL 39 for -1 yards (B.Pollard). FUMBLES (B.Pollard), RECOVERED by KC-B.Johnston at STL 31.

Looking good. Unless KC's LB situation improves Pollard could be a real gem.

Tyrell Johnson is another sleeper pick as he will start the season in MInny and could hold the job even when Madieu comes back. That Payne kid has got to be a sleeper. I like the Godfrey suggestion also

I doubt he'll keep Williams on the bench but is a nice pick. Could be Sharper's replacement eventually.

I like the Bone Crusher. He split time a few games last year which started to worry me some but toward the end of the season he really turned it on. I am not sure how he is in coverage though.

E Smith has already cemented his hold on the SS position for the Jets. Elam is now on the chopping block.

The Packer WR's will help break the rookie in.
