Dont laugh some of my more delusional Patriots fans think Stidham can step right in and keep the train moving along the tracksStidham is the goat.
they don't need to look further
While I am obviously being facetious, in my opinion Stidham will be the future. He is talented. This time last year he was the expected 1.1 in many mocks.Dont laugh some of my more delusional Patriots fans think Stidham can step right in and keep the train moving along the tracks
They’re going to trade for Trubisky. Mark my words.I feel like the Pats will try to get a QB with some wheels next time around.
really? I don't recall that. Can you provide a link? While I am obviously being facetious, in my opinion Stidham will be the future. He is talented. This time last year he was the expected 1.1 in many mocks.
That just may be the call. What do you think the cost would be?OrtonToOlsen said:They’re going to trade for Trubisky. Mark my words.
A lot of the 2019 mock links are not working any longer. It could very well have been WalterFootball had him as the top qb prospect this time last year (not mocked 1.1). They dont archive their rankings so it wont show that now. I recall Stidham and Grier getting a lot of attention this time last year, which is why I was excited to at least grab Stidham late in my drafts. I distinctly remember seeing Stidham as the QB1 in the class and made a mental note of it as I had major. needs needs at qb at the time.JohnnyU said:really? I don't recall that. I agree! Was just talking about this regarding Rodgers with a buddy.I want to see Belichick take some other QB to a SB win so that this greatest ever garb stops in its tracks. You put Brees on the Pats over the past 20 years and Brady with Payton and the numbers would be just as they are now, give or take bonehead calls by the 2001 Rams, 2014 Seahawks and 2016 Falcons. We would be talking Brees and his SB wins.
Belichick is the GOAT and Brady rides him.

Looking through the 2019 dynasty prospect thread, I did find one mock that found him as a high 1st:

Mocks are garbage but looking through the 2019 prospect thread you will see many articles about stidham being one of the early favorites for one of the top qb prospects in April and May 2018.
He had a down 2018 largely due to play calling and scheme. I really think people are sleeping on him.
If NE moves on from Brady or Brady from the NFL, I can see NE signing Mariota and having it as an open competition between him and Stidham. I dont see them moving on from Stidham completely. Word was he was doing quite well in training camp. which lead them to cutting Hoyer...
Brees is a bad comparison because nobody disputes that he's HOF-quality QB. To really clinch your argument, you need Belichick rolling with some lifelong journeyman who piles up wins. Somebody like a Kerry Collins or a Kyle Orton or a Matt Cassel. You know, somebody like that.I want to see Belichick take some other QB to a SB win so that this greatest ever garb stops in its tracks.
