@sheerterror You have had a great draft.

Some random thoughts:

Downs at 3.02 seems like larceny! It may take a season or two for Anthony Richardson to develop, but this has the potential to be a dynamic duo.

Mims at 3.04 seems like a good value. The path to a sizeable role is not immediately apparent, but I believe in his talent.

Mingo is probably close to his value at 2.06, but his potential is worth noting. He has been a fast riser in dynasty circles. I love the raw talent and the opportunity.

Michael Wilson is probably properly valued in Round 3, but 3.01 may be too rich for me. He may struggle to get on the field much in 2023, although he could eventually step into a role if Hopkins departs. He is an older rookie with injury concerns, but I like the long-term potential -- just not ahead of guys like Downs, Mims and Tillman.

Much has been made about the recent report of Tyjae Spears' medical history, and perhaps his career will ultimately be truncated as a result, but getting him at the end of Round 2 seems like a steal.

Cedric Tillman at 3.08 is good value. I like the upside of the Browns' offense. Cooper, Peoples-Jones and Moore represent a strong depth chart in front of Tillman, but I like Tillman to make that climb to a weekly starter.

Despite not having a first-round pick, you have added: Sam LaPorta, Tyjae Spears, Cedric Tillman, Zach Evans, Charlie Jones and Tucker Kraft (plus some great IDP picks). Well done! Values across the board!

I'm sure like most early drafts, there's some odd ones in there that'll look great/horrible once we get through the summer. I thought the 3rd round represented a ton of value with some of the guys you listed like Mims and Downs. I was really bummed about Roschon going 2.7 and Tucker 3.3 as I own Herbert and White and thought it was shaping up perfect to cuff both of em with those mid round picks, but still felt I made the best of the value presented.

Hated being the first guy to draft the IDPers, especially since I'm fairly strong there - but based on consensus rankings, the early 4th was just too late to let the top 2 guys fall to. I passed on Vaughn, Hull (JT owner) and Schoonmaker (thought that was great value for him early 4th) to do so.

Spears was my college crush this year and the only RB left on the board that I’d want to draft in the first 2 rounds. Easy pick for me. Especially considering the WR talent left on the board…

In which I was happy to see Rice go before it got back to me. I like the player alright but he just seems like fools gold to me by landing in KC. It would have been hard to turn him down if given the chance however. That left me with a decision to make between Downs, Mims, and Reed. Which was not as easy for me as my first pick. I believe in Downs’ ability the most and I’m fascinated to see what happens in Indy over the next few years, hence my selection.

Two drafts, two shares of Sean Tucker from the 3.06 spot. Why not? I was more than happy to round out this draft with Issy and Darnell in the 4th.

Ours starts Monday. Interested in gauging how active our league is re: trading in relation to others, we've already had more than half the picks in the draft traded one way or another, anyone else close to that number or is that relatively normal?

5/14 were made by their original teams in the 1st round.
6/14 made by OT in 2nd round.

That's the draft just above your post. None of the top 6 are the original holders.
 
all i keep hearing is how no one loves this class in my league, but no one willing to trade either. im giving up 2024 1st and 2nd rnds picks for 1.03 or 1.05 to guys who say they dont like the class... but wont bite.

12 Team 1 QB PPR, this year we have 8 of Top 15 picks traded but a total of 20 out of 3 Rounds (36) traded.... right along with your league.
I don't recall last years activity. Draft starts Monday.

my point is these guys with those picks have BOTH said they dont like this year's crop (and their pick spot outside the top 2). thus, here's an offer for next year.
im not complaining that they're not taking it, that's up to them. but if you dont like the available players, and no one else willing to give up players for those picks, then what are you doing?
heck the one guy said "next yr is way better"... ok? so here's 2 extra picks for you next yr

I have traded anything after 3, but I wouldn’t take a random 2024 1, 2 for 1.05. I would trade back to 9-12 then get another first for that pick. Regardless of the fact that i prefer next years class I am not going to sell for bad value, I would look elsewhere.

ya we'll see. i just find it wild that ppl are basically pissing on their picks, but not willing to do anything about it. again this might go back to the discussion i started last week about "fantasy/dynasty" fading potentially. who knows...

One league had 22 total picks traded out of 48 and the other, that will be wrapping up soon, has seen 29 out of 49 change hands so far.
 
1 QB 12 Teamer, started on Tuesday (I am Fun Control, traded down from 1.4 to 1.7, got 2.3 and 3.3 picks)

I'd note that I originally had 1.7 and traded it to the drafter for 2.2 and his next year's first. Apparently he has a man crush on Levis. I then traded 2.2 for 2.3 and and 3.3 - I did so very confident that the trade partner would take Mayer as he had a TE need and he is a ND grad.

I then trade 3.2, 3.3, and 3.4 for Hollywood Brown and 3.1.

Thanks for posting. I probably would have taken either Evans, Tucker, or Abanikanda over Wilson and Bennett (even in SF). You got Brown at a good spot. Hard to pass on JSN and Gibbs, but I get it, it's a SF.

While I agree, I have no experience with 10 Team SF format. I think Studs are more valuable than multiple less pieces ... The Quality over Quantity.
In my league with Start 9, Quantity/Depth matters as nobody is likely to get multiple "studs" in a single position.

Absolutely! I don't see any of them as more than WR2s at best. JSN is well over rated and has a tough path to targets, Johnston is RAW and in another tough spot & Addison may only have 1 year of Cousins before they blow up the QB spot.

Miller has a pretty clear path to becoming an RB1. Jamal Williams is not a bell cow and won't be there next season & we all know about Kamara. His legal situation, salary and age almost guarantees that he's gone next season. I love this spot for Miller.

That is a lot of "ifs". You're wrong about JSN. He will pass Lockett pretty easily in 2024 and will end up being a target hog over Metcalf too. Johnston is the only one in that grouping that I would consider taking Miller over. We don't know what the QB situation will be in the future for the Vikings, but I would be willing to take that chance with Addison over Miller and I love Miller. I gave Kyler Murray and a future 1st for him in a start 1qb league (I'm loaded at QB with Fields, Hurts, AR, Bryce Young, Love, Lance) for the 1.10 and took Miller.

I would have taken Wilson over several players here (Moody, McIntosh, Whyle, Bennett, Ryland, Gray (even as a handcuff) and probably Nacua too.

Agree. Free agency starts Monday, so going to make a strong bid on him.

Took Gray over Wilson because I have an insanely good WR group and I had taken Downs as well. Cover Saquan with Gray and if he leaves next year, a potential starting RB.
