The actual weed itself, you don't want to travel with.  

But really at this point, why even buy weed?  Edibles, and vape oil is the answer.  

With vape oil, it's an e-cigarette. You're just another person with an e-cig.  Anywhere anyone can vape, you an get high.

Certainly, possession of edibles or thc vape oil cartridges is still illegal under federal law and the laws of most states.

No question.  As is possession of prescription drugs without a scrip.  

I believe traveling with vape oil is easier to travel with than illegal pills, which people do on every flight.  

 
Has anyone tried McGarnicle's coconut oil recipe yet?  I'm considering trying it out next week but  I feel like I need some confirmation that it works well before I spend a lot of time and weed doing it.

I live on the north side of Portland and work in Vancouver.  GM's right, it's not that great.  Just suburbian sprawl across the river, but the little downtown city center is the only place I'd consider hanging out.   Spend the extra 15 to 20 minutes driving and hanging out in Portland.  

Regarding travel, I don't think it's that big of a deal.  If they find it on you at the airport, they will just make you throw it out since you are still in the state where it's legal.  Once you are in the air with it you are good to go imo.  

 
All you guys that are parents, how do you handle it with the kids? Wait until they're asleep?

 Back when I was more regularly into it (although never that deep) I was into edibles, but making those with my kids around just doesn't feel right.

We sit on the back porch after the kids are "settled."  Ours are 6 and 4, so they would ask questions.  Sometimes they come outside, but where we sit we'll here the door open and have a short time to stash it in a plant on the table.

That sounds a like a really nice scenario. Mom and Dad retiring to the back porch. I'd imagine those are some good times for the marriage.

I don't personally like pot that much, but among the many benefits, it seems helpful in a world that's becoming less social in terms of person to person communication. I'd imagine "mom and dad retiring to back porch to catch up and reflect on the day" is something that's becoming more and more rare. Now, it's mom and retiring to stare at their phones for an hour before bed, after a day of staring at their phones. 

 
Anybody enjoy shatter ? Too much,(which doesn't seem like much at all) can really rock your world. 

It makes me nauseous and my head spin. Trying to find that happy middle ground.

I haven't had the pleasure of many edibles but I imagine like shatter you can overdo it pretty easily. 

Smoking is my norm, but I would probably switch to vapes if I could.

Why can't you?   Dynavape is having a sale this weekend on vapcaps.  It's a butane powered vape that seems a lot like smoking a joint.  I picked one up.  $28, no s&h or tax. Added a torch from Amazon for $11.  

 
I picked up what my guy called "Girl Scout Cookie ". You can smell this stuff a mile away. 

I've been taking bat hits in between stores while out Christmas shopping. I made the wife drive my truck.  She said my stuff smelt like gasoline.

For Christmas my aunt gave my wife these silicone molds to make no-carb chocolate candies. They're made of coconut oil, chocolate and stevia. There's a version with peanut butter too. I'm going to adapt it to make a green version and I'll post the recipe here. I'm thinking it's probably less hassle to make than cookies, and will keep in the fridge a lot longer.

Maybe you should grow up and start smoking weed like an adult.  Your culinary experiments cause you to tweak out and do irrational things.  Like getting butthurt in the FFA and having to go take passive aggressiveness shots at me on :e:

It's pretty funny that you're calling me irrational and butthurt, as you posted all that weird conspiracy crap in the Pizzagate thread and got seeded in the Dumb#### tourney as a result. Then you take a random shot at me in the weed thread? Seems like you're the one who needs to chill the #### out and smoke a fatty. One of the friends of our business is a grower / processor that has 500 lbs of shatter that he can't sell due to medical / rec licensing issues.  Sounds like he's dropping some of it off for the office on Thursday.     :unsure:

First off, I was never saying I believed in the pizzagate crap.  Pretty amature for a vet like you to take the bait there.  So I get nominated for the DF award by you.  No big deal, not my first time.  Then you gotta keep chiming in about group O.  I'm starting to see a pattern here.  Did I ever do anything to you?  I actually used to shower you with "likes", but not anymore.  You have an obsession with the quez, seems a little negative.  It's sad really.  From my notebook it's likely because you are living in a town with a bunch of sexy ebony women, and have yet to taste the dark chocolate.  Either that or you are jealous I have one of the best looking ladies in the FFA.
