Hey Guys,

Preseason is one time of the year when TV access to games is very limited. But most games are shown in their local markets.

If you can watch a preseason game, you can be a hero for the board and let us know what you see.

Please Note: Assume with these preseason game threads that the other people in the thread aren't watching the game. Normally, these threads are full of "nice catch" posts and that's cool because everyone is watching and everyone knows what you mean. But for these, please tell us more specifically what you're seeing as if we can't see the game.

Please focus on the things that won't show up in the box score.

- who got time with the starters

- how they looked

- body language on the sidelines

That kind of stuff. Basically, post the kind of stuff you'd like to know about a game that you are not able to watch.

Thanks.

J

Dang, the Vikings RB's look great tonight. Better start moving all of them up the draft board.

What was that, they are playing the Raiders DEF? Oh, OK, never mind.

I figured I'd go ahead and get that in before 100 posts from the :11: wondering why Chester Taylor isn't a first round pick.

:goodposting:

QB rotation:

Brad Johnson will start and play the first quarter.

Mike McMahon will play a portion of the second quarter.

Tarvaris Jackson will finish the second quarter and play the third.

J.T. O’Sullivan will play the fourth quarter.

Food and drink rotation:

I will start the game with chips and coke

In the 2nd quarter I will move onto pizza and beer

By the 3rd quarter I'll be feeling bloated, will limit the food but continue the beer.

By the 4th quarter I will be tempted to tune into Monday night Raw to see if this is finally the Monday when Trish Stratus or Victoria lose their top and have a Janet Jackson moment.

Two biggest things I'm interested in:

1. How Chester Taylor looks as the starting RB for the Vikes.

2. Whether LaMont Jordan gets any targets in the passing game. Last week (granted first pre-season game and minimal action) he got 0.

:goodposting: I'll add in:Seeing how Tarvaris Jackson performs, even if it is against 2nd, 3rd and soon to be dropped defensive players. I do NOT want to see Mike McMahon playing anything but Clipboard junky. So praying Travis steps it up and is ready to step in if Brad goes down.

What I am interested in seeing:

Chris Jones

Troy Williamson

The entire D (especially EJ)

Tarvaris

Udeze/Erasmus - can they get a rush this year?

MOSS !!!

I'll be at the game tonight and will post if I see anything that isn't mentioned already in the thread.

If you have anything specific you are curious about, post it, and I will do my best to get an answer.

No one has a better opp to move themselves up the fantasy draft board than Randy moss. ADP's having him going late 2nd, early 3rd. If Randy's rocket takes off, he go early second. I'm targeting him over fitz and holt and harrison with my 2nd round pick. (pick 6th in 1st round, so what is that, 19th overall)

Very :goodposting: Big night for PPR players

Stuff I'm looking for:

Courtney Anderson: Shell has paid lip service to getting him more involved. We shall see.

Paul McQuistan: Got shoved around by Philly at RG. The rookie Boothe looked better against the scrubs.

Kelly and Sapp: Boys, at least fall down in front of someone.

WR's: Starters played little, Porter should be getting some face time tonight. I'd like to see more from Morant, Walter looked to him but he was covered every time. Poor choice by Walter, or lack of seperation by Morant? They threw it to Wil Buchanon the entire second half last week.

Andrew Walter: The preseason is the only time I think we'll see him, so I hope he gets a lot of reps.

Chester Taylor: I fear he'll look great tonight against the Raiders starters.

Troy Williamson: Is he cleared? How's the knee?

The mess that is the Minny LB's.

Udeze

Burning Issue: Will Brad Childress have a pencil behind his ear?

quick someone get tirico some hair plugs
Ha! I was totally coming in here to say the same thing. Seriously, if they are going to put that guy on the air then they need to stop the camera angle where they shoot from slightly above them...you might as well put a spotlight on it...

Oh and for the record, I allready saw the movie Invincibile like 15 years ago. It was called Rudy the first time I saw it.

I feel sorry for people in the Philly/New Jersey area who want to see that movie. You know that 95% of the movie will be some guy in the crowd screaming E A G L E S EAGLES.

another pass, Jordan stays into block.

I think theres a lot of projections to be re written soon on LaMont.

kornheiser is pretty dreadful

espn/abc needs to understand what makes a team successful good announcer and color guy. the color guy being an experience player/coach who has a lot of stupid stories to tell

Wow, what do you know Aaron Brooks runs 15 yards back and lofts the ball up in the air when the rush comes in on OAK's 1st drive. Man, as a Saints fan, I do not miss that ### clown.
