you may want to update that site where you are getting those numberst tHmm, let's see.... last season he had a game where he got nine carries. Nine. A starting, "STUD" back. 2 games where he had 12. Another game of 13.To call Ray Rice inconsistent is pretty out there unless it's opposite day.Wait, what? Yeah, all those 30 and 40-something yard games last season really scream consistent production to me, too. His pass-catching can up his value in PPR formats but to call Rice "consistent" is pretty out there.
Any offense that feeds their supposed workhorse back under 13 times per game is a recipe for inconsistent fantasy production. But go ahead and convince yourself otherwise.
I'll reiterate: his pass-catching keeps him in the fold as an RB1, but saying he should be 1.01 is foolhardy.

It doesn't matter who is playing besides him, he's a home run threat and nothing else. People here like to fight for some reason why he's not, but they're wrong. He's great in best ball formats, terrible on your fantasy roster. He will scored 2 TD's in one game then the following week catch 1 pass for 5 yards. AVOID!tsmith still will not be targeted a lot even though boldin is not in town.....?

No im asking you wtf you're talking about, 3 games under 70 yards with an average of 107 yds a game. Seriously, wtf are you talking about? We playing Keno here or something? If so, I'll start with 3 sheets and please bring me a refill on my Sprite when you have a chance. TIA.93I'm neither confused nor taking anything personally, but thanks for playing.

I assume you're a Panther homer. Has Cam been stymied run-wise by Shula's offense? I know it's just the pre-season but the lack of scores would be of mild concern, no?Cam is still just a pure stud
very concernedI was just saying he was a stud when running the ball. The dude gets a head of steam and is a monster. He has missed on at least 3 easy throws tonight. Couple tht with the oline and Houston we have a problem.I assume you're a Panther homer. Has Cam been stymied run-wise by Shula's offense? You obviously have either poor reading comprehension or are reading selectively. Either way, it's not in my MO to play internet ping-pong with someone who likes to argue just for the sake of argument. No im asking you wtf you're talking about, 3 games under 70 yards with an average of 107 yds a game. Lions RB/FB Montell Owens exited Thursday night's preseason game with a potentially severe left leg injury.
On a traditional carry, Owens took one step and collapsed without contact, suggesting an interior tear in his leg. Non-contact injuries typically don't end well. Owens was receiving carries ahead of Mikel Leshoure on Thursday night, and behind Reggie Bush and Joique Bell. He also plays special teams.

yeah like rice should easily be in the talk for 1 overall. I can see him finishing way above adp because of his catchesLets stop quoting Keno numbers and get back to something interesting.
Star Lotulelei.who?Star looking good.

Pretty much every back in the first round has a valid argument for #1 overall. I was taking Rice over Peterson (2 weeks ago) before I started taking Mccoy over Peterson (1 week ago.) I think Rice is the safest back in the first round - mostly because of how consistent he is in the PPR format.yeah like rice should easily be in the talk for 1 overall. Are you a wizardRay Rice looks like he wont have to worry about Pierce.
Do you play in a dumb format where receiving yards are somehow worth less than rushing yards?nirad3 said:Im a ####.I was obviously talking about his rushing stats you festering clam.

Nope, but since I understand real football in conjunction with the Dungeons and Dragons version, I draw hesitation based on the fact that a team's RUNNING BACK had 4 instances where he had less than 14 carries.Do you play in a dumb format where receiving yards are somehow worth less than rushing yards?nirad3 said:Im a ####.I was obviously talking about his rushing stats you festering clam.

I Can't imagine they need to see a lot of Ray in a pre-season gameSo if the 3rd pre season game is a dress rehearsal with rice and pierce rotating series, is the what to expect in the regular season?

And in doing so and applying that to how the offense now looks without 2 of its top 3 receiving options from the year prior, I have further cause for concern for the CURRENT SEASON.
But go back to rolling your 100-sided dice, and don't mind me.enguinscreech:
I personally wouldn't take Rice over Peterson #1 overall in standard. I could see an argument for Mccoy, Richardson, Lynch, Martin, Charles, Spiller and Morris though. What about non PPR?Pretty much every back in the first round has a valid argument for #1 overall. You could make an argument for anyone. No other RB has the cosistently elite track record that Peterson has. And yes, people still play standard.I personally wouldn't take Rice over Peterson #1 overall in standard. I could see an argument for Mccoy, Richardson, Lynch, Martin, Charles, Spiller and Morris though.Do people still play standard these days? What about non PPR?Pretty much every back in the first round has a valid argument for #1 overall.
